We had an amazing stay here! The building was adorable and well kept. The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful (lucky for me with my beginner Spanish most of them spoke basic English so we could work through it together). The beds were really comfortable, they only have a sheet for sleeping under while were there but it's so warm out you don't need more. The ac worked like a charm, the shower had the hottest water we got in all of this side of Mexico. The pools are soooo refreshing (hubby said cold but I thought it was a nice break from the heat) and the bar upstairs makes delicious drinks. With booking here you also get access to a bunch of other rooftop patios that Kavia owns, just ask for a wristband and go exploring! I definitely recommend this hotel to other people, especially those looking to experience playa del carmen and still enjoy a nice quiet sleep (it's a short walk to the main strip but it's a lovely walk) and on your way back, do yourself a favour and stop and grab tacos or tortas from the food carts on the block just before the hotel.

We started off our stay with no air-conditioning. Got moved to another room, with no hot water for two days. The free cocktail is not a free cocktail on arrival. We asked for an extra towel and an extra pillow, both were denied. We ate at the restaurant, the first two items who ordered they did not have. The pictures that are posted online did not match our room. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. They were not clear on the drink specials for happy hour, so our two drinks at happy hour was $30. We picked up some street food to taste, was told that the restaurant would not supply a plate or fork for us to eat because no outside food is allowed on the roof. On the upside, the location is excellent. It is near our favorite restaurant. We will not stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Also throughout the whole entire hotel, very clean, staff very nice very attentive one of the servers Mosarat and her partner. Laura were very nice to us. Very polite always knowing what we want. We have to say it was a great experience.

This is an old-fashioned motel with the doors to your room opening outside, although there is a security fence. There’s not even a security chain on the door. Although the area didn’t feel unsafe, a bit more security in Mexico would’ve been appreciated. There is no breakfast served. Overall, not a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. Was exactly as described. Staff was very courteous and helpful (the hotel as well as the coffee shop). Location is great ...15 min or so walk to the beach, but close to alot of restaurants on 10th, 5th, etc. Great for solo travelers and couples.
