BEACHES: The Vidanta resort in Riviera Maya lies along the shores of the warm crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Ocean. Take a walk down the pier to the observation deck, or walk, swim, play volleyball, or just lounge under a palapa at the beach that extends nearly a mile along the entire reach of the property. An activities center can help you arrange for snorkeling gear for use at the resort or scheduled trips elsewhere.
POOLS: There's a pool area for everybody at the Grand Luxxe Riviera Maya. The signature Mayan Palace pool sits as a flagship center for gathering in its expansiveness beachside location. Swim leisurely in one of the pool's eddys, join the kids in the shallow play areas, join pool volleyball, grab a cool drink from one of the swim up bars, or lay poolside and simply soak up the relaxing Caribbean sun. Grand Luxxe members have access to their own private pool and beach area one on side of the resort, or the exquisite Beach Club on the other should a more secluded experience be on your agenda for the day. Want to spend the day in the jungle? This is what you'll experience at the Grand Mayan Sanctuary pool area.
ACTIVITIES: A full menu of activities scattered throughout the resort means there is something for everyone at all times during the day. Water aerobics, morning stretching, botanical tour, bingo, poker, sand and pool volleyball, sand soccer, Spanish lessons, dancing classes, arts and crafts, are all free, with the option for paddle boarding, parasailing, and water sports rentals.
FINE AND CASUAL DINING: From gourmet restaurants headed by professional chefs serving Mexican, French, Italian, and Asian cuisine to the multiple poolside and other eateries around the resort, going off-site can be hardly a consideration with a multitude of restaurants and lounges to explore. The resort's new market center, Salum, offers a beachside gathering, dining and lounging experience, with open air restaurants, snack shops and retail shopping. Vidanta works hard to assure fresh ingredients and a delectable menu no matter the location, so a simple taco for lunch at Samba can be just as delicious as dinner at the fine Quinto restaurant. Should you choose to venture out, both Playa del Carmen and Cancun offer unlimited options.
GOLF: The Jack Nicklaus designed course makes the resort a premier opportunity for the avid or casual golfer. The golf environment includes a restaurant on the course. Up to sixteen rounds of golf are included in your 7 day stay.
SPA: Spatium, the Luxxe spa, is simply exquisite. Tucked away at the end of a wooden path into the jungle, it's inviting from the moment you step in the door. The staff is crisply groomed and professional, the attendants, aestheticians, and therapists are welcoming and skilled. Services include an extensive menu of massage, body wraps, and salon options. In addition to pa services is the option to use the facility daily for self-treatment. Spatium hosts a spa with a hot pool, cold pool, steam sauna, and dry sauna in each of the men-only/women-only areas.
CIRQUE DE SOLEIL: Vidanta is home to its own exquisite Cirque de Soleil entertainment complex, including a stunning performance venue and an open-air restaurant beside a stunning lake, all nestled within its own jungle setting. And the show, well, what can we say, it's Cirque de Soleil. All of it, absolutely breathtaking!
JUNGULA WATER PARK: Tucked inside this tropical paradise is Vidanta's new boutique on-site waterpark with thrilling waterslides, the longest lazy river in Latin America, a cutting-edge wave pool, integrated kids play areas, and luxurious lounging options. And in Vidanta style, the food and beverage options are quality and delicious.
ENTERTAINMENT: With the days an immersion into tropical paradise, the nights offer a variety of entertainment options. Nightly entertainment can be found at the Salum marketplace area as well as other restaurants throughout the resort. Reserve dinner and show featuring dancing, singing, and food from the Mexican culture. Also on the list of entertainment options are family movie nights and live music from varying musicians and styles at restaurants and lounges throughout the resort.
MARKET: Fresh foods, clothing, Mexican wares, and two restaurants with a view are just a few of the things you will find at the resort's shopping complex, Jade, and the open air market, Salum. If they can't find it, they will help direct you to how to get what you need.
GYM: The resort hosts two gyms: 1) Brio on the second floor of the Brio Spa overlooking the ocean, and, 2) Spatium, exclusive to Grand Luxxe members and tucked within the jungle next to Spatium Spa. The gym is in the style of all-things-Luxxe, superbly designed, excellent staff, and state-of-the-art equipment. Within the gym complex are a variety of cardio options, a selection of the latest in weight machines, and equipment for gentle stretching and floor exercise activities.
YOUR VILLA: If you like Italian marble, floor to ceiling windows, oversize melt-to-your-body king beds, jacuzzi tubs, gourmet kitchens and lavishly inviting living rooms, two and a half bathrooms, spacious fully furnished balconies with a private plunge pool, then this nearly 3000 sq. ft. piece of personal heaven is for you. Your room is carefully tended to by the same sweet maid each day. A concierge sits in the lobby on your floor eager to book a dinner reservation or reservations for Jungula or Cirque de Soleil for you, help you arrange for a taxi or off-site adventure, or find a resolution for a need you've discovered. Coffee and tea are served in your floor's lobby area each morning, and a fine chocolate on your pillow will end your day that evening. Internet is included. With sleeper sofas for larger groups, your 2-bedroom unit sleeps up to 8 people: 1BR unit up to 6.
BUSINESS
The Grand Luxxe can accommodate your business functions as well with a meeting room plus any audio/visual or other technical requirements. Restaurants and pool decks can also be used for events, just let us know if we can help arrange this for you.
WEDDING
Couples can tie the knot at The Grand Luxxe. Ceremony and reception venues include the resort's beach and pool decks. Just let us know and we can work with resort staff to help arrange the details for a perfect and memorable tropical wedding.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are for a 7 day stay/1 week stay and can start on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Children are under 12. Living rooms include sleeper sofas to accommodate maximum number of guests per room. Because the resort books quickly, booking at least 6 months out or earlier can help guarantee the dates you wish to travel. Availability from January through March is very tight, so reservations for this period should be made as far in advance as possible. Reservation dates can be modified up to 60 days prior to check in. Less than a 60 day notice cannot be modified albeit for medical emergency.

Payment at the resort is cashless; you may use your credit card or register your credit card at check in to get set up for a signature-only payment system.
A small municipal tax of around $7 (depending on the value of the pesos to dollar) is charged each day.
Restaurant prices are comparable to most popular eateries in the U.S. Meal packages may be purchased that include six breakfasts/ lunch and six dinners for a discounted cost.
Because this is a membership resort, an offer to attend an informational (sales) meeting that includes a free breakfast, discounts on tours and resort activities, and 10% off food and beverage at check-out is presented at check in. It is optional and there is no obligation to attend.
