Welcome to Plitvice Falls Cottage!

All rooms are elegantly decorated and equipped with an extra-large bed, flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a minibar. All guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of water. A private bathroom with a shower and free branded toiletries is available in each room. Possibility of breakfast for 24 € per person per day. You can enjoy a buffet breakfast with food carefully prepared for various tastes.

Plitvice Lakes are the largest, oldest and most visited national park in the Republic of Croatia. They are located halfway between the capital Zagreb and the unique Adriatic coast.

Plitvice Lakes were declared a national park back in 1949, and their beauty was recognized by UNESCO, which included them on the 1979 World Heritage List. The area of ​​the park is slightly less than 300 km2, which is dominated by forest vegetation. Plitvice Lakes consists of 16 large and small turquoise lakes that flow from one to another with many magnificent waterfalls. The room was not very nice. The bed was not comfortable and the roof had a tilt which was extremely uncomfortable. The blankets were not very cozy. The stay was pricey compared to what it offers

Je huurt hier zeker geen vakantiehuis maar een kamer in een hotel. Totaal iets anders dan de advertentie op deze website. Ik heb duidelijk aangegeven met 5 personen in 1 kamer te willen verblijven, maar bij aankomst leek onze boeking niet gevonden te kunnen worden. Daarna werd gezegd dat de kamer lekkage had. We hebben hier twee nachten verbleven maar moesten dus steeds verkassen. De kamer waar wij in hadden moeten verblijven was bezet door andere mensen. Hoe de situatie nu precies was zal altijd een mysterie blijven.Het hotel zelf is prima. Mooie kamers, goede bedden en vriendelijk personeel. Ook de plek is geweldig voor het bezoeken van de Plitvice meren. Het diner is erg aan de dure kant (maar wel lekker) en de in de omschrijving genoemde prijs voor het ontbijt (15) komt niet overeen met de prijs daar (24). Het ontbijt was prima maar niet voor dit bedrag. Daarbij was er bij ons sprake van een glutenallergie (van tevoren benoemd) en was er vervolgens geen glutenvrij brood of iets dergelijks. Erg teleurstellend. Ik zou het wel aanraden maar dan wel met de juiste info.
