Disappointed and did not renovate as promised.

We are regulars to mill falls and Meredith. We go married here. But Mill Falls was suppose to be renovated and it wasn’t. Old, worn, outdated. Disappointed.

We stayed in the Chase House. It was not very clean. The signs said there was going to a big renovation in 2025 ( although it’s already August) and it sure needs it. The carpets and windows/ balcony were filthy. Furniture was aged. It was hard to access the pool/lake because we weren’t in the main house. We “ missed” maid service because we were in the room when they arrived. Just a bad experience. The staff were pleasant. For the $$$, not at all worth the experience.

Our room was clean, comfortable and had some character with a lake view balcony and gas fireplace. The only thing that was wrong was that the tv did not work correctly. It went in and out. If you were watching a show, you’d get about 2 sentences, and then it would go dark for about 5 seconds, and then back on. We didn’t report it at the time but we did leave a note. The only other complaint is that there was not good direction about things like where and what time breakfast was served or where the pools were located. Once we found the pool it was great, with a gorgeous view of the lake. You can walk down steps to a sandy beach from the pool, as well. We will be back.

Location was fabulous with lots of dining options within walking distance. The room was less than acceptable. Couch has stains on it bed was hard as a rock, extra blanket was dirty. I would not stay at this hotel on future trips.

Had a great time! Very convenient location. Overall we had great time. Property very clean but tired looking. Sink did not drain properly. Still the location and the space were excellent. I was a little shocked at the resort fee. Although I knew that up front. All and all I would recommend this property.

Attended a concert at BNP...was very convenient for late night bed-down and exploring the region the next day. Church Landing checkin not a problem until the keys fail, then it's a hassle to be at Palmer Inn, but Erica was very responsive and pleasant for replacement.

Beautiful Rooms and Amenities

This was an amazing experience. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Everything was immaculate in the room...very clean. There were plush towels and a comfortable bed with a sofa and dining table too. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the lake and there was also a fire pit if you wanted. They had activities for children and families. The pool was lovely. This is a top notch resort.

Very over priced, tire property that does not have great service and is understaffed consistently throughout the year. Missing toilet paper in the room. The doors are not very secure. The heating and air conditioner are so loud and ineffective. Not a lot of other solid options in Meredith however.
