I stayed here as a solo traveller. The room was basic but had everything I needed and was generally clean although it could have been a bit better under the bed. The bed itself was comfortable and I slept well once I managed to get to sleep.
The walls were thin and I could hear my neighboursâ loud music until I eventually drifted off which was a downside. The staff were friendly and lovely throughout my stay.
The car park was full so I bought a parking permit from reception for ÂŁ10. Unfortunately, I was wrongly advised about where I could park which resulted in a parking ticket â disappointing as it could have been avoided.
Overall, a decent stay with a few issues that could be improved.
Highly recommended this hotel .. Staff were very friendly and helpful, Price for such a location is very reasonable and the cooked Breakfast was excellent
Reception staff lovely both on arrival and departure. Breakfast freshly cooked and lush. Single room was just the job, clean and shower great, however bed a bit squeaky when moving but slept well. Great location near Hoe and not far from City Centre. Price was good value and better than well known chain hotels.
Ok
Expensive for what it was. Small room on 4th floor no lift, was not made aware of this at booking and with elderly mother she found the stairs hard.
Shower did not work, broken.
Parking very limited and could not reserve. Okay very basic
Nice welcoming staff and clean room. The single bed was appalling, uncomfortable and creaked like a Napoleonic warship even with the slightess movement. Not a restful night despite a quiet location in the hotel.
Close to Plymouth Hoe and not to far from city centre.
Parking is not really possible on the roads. You have to use the public car park which is not cheap.
My stay was limited to a place to sleep as I was attending sporting event, so experience limited, however the room was clean, shower decent and check in and out very friendly and efficient so no complaints at all!
property is a heritage listed building it is beautiful just beware it is old location is amazing walking distance for around major areas in Plymouth if you are after something traditional this is a great find
Shower was a little hard to work out and took some time to heat up but that us normal with old buildings
The Grosvenor hotel was a lovely place to stay, clean and tidy, breakfast was great with options for your liking, staff was very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend
Stayed in many places in Plymouth city and This place is a little gem. All the staff we came across were all really friendly and the breakfast was bang on for what we paid
