I never write reviews but I can’t avoid doing it for this property so that it helps even just one person from booking to stay there and losing money on a place as awful as this. The check in person was not friendly or helpful. We are grandparents traveling with a four year old, and were weary from a day at the boardwalk. The room was dank, smelled musty, and was dark. The only window was under a low overhang. There were two beds- one very hard, and the other so caved in that two people could not sleep in it without sliding into the middle. The bath towels were so old and frayed they were actually gray instead of white. The TV reception from their wifi was so poor that it studdered constantly. We tried to get the person out front to offer assistance, but she said the reception wasn’t good because of a storm, which was not true. There was no storm- just riptides and 20 mph winds. How does that affect the WiFi? We decided that it was too awful to stay there after all this, so we found another place for our trip. We were only in the room for less than an hour, so although I expected to lose the first night’s cost, I did expect a refund for the balance of the trip since we were not staying, but I emailed them like I was told to do, and received no reply and no refund . Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Is was really awful- especially for over $200 a night.
