Chateau Elan is an excellent place to stay. Grounds are immaculate, staff cannot do enough for you and the spa is wonderful. We stayed in the spa suites, they are nice but can be a bit noisy. We previously stayed in the villa studio and prefer that room. The restaurants are very good and restaurant staff are so kind. We had spa treatments and they were excellent. Staff at the spa will ensure you are happy and comfortable. We will definitely return to the chateau!

We recently spent three days in a spa suite on the first floor, and the experience was truly memorable. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. I could see peaceful landscapes and even had the chance to spot wildlife like wallabies and kangaroos, which added a special touch to the stay. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right from the beginning. However, I did notice that the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. There was quite a bit of dust settled on the furniture, which was disappointing given the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Food-wise, there were not many options available for vegetarians or vegans. If you follow a plant-based diet, you might find the menu a little limited. Despite these small issues, the natural surroundings and the chance to see wildlife made the stay feel unique and refreshing. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and dietary variety, this place could easily become a top choice for a peaceful getaway.

We had a really lovely stay. The staff at check in were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the area as we visited from interstate. The grounds were kept beautifully maintained, there were a few different options within close range for meals and within short driving distance to a lot of the vineyards. The only issue I had considering the price per night was minor damages that should have been fixed such as the mini fridge door coming off its hinges. Overall great stay and will definitely recommend.

Anniversary in the Villa next to construction

We told the hotel we were booking for our 35th wedding anniversary and they put us in the villa directly beside the construction work on the neighbouring property. The room was nice with a gas fireplace and large bathtub but the noise of cutting pavers and road grading went on from 7am to 4pm every day. They didn't warn us about the noise when we booked and they put us in the Villa right on the end next to the work. We felt like we drew the short straw
