Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01202 622 434 to let them know. Please note any guests under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.

Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.

Bathrobes: Bathrobes are available to hire for £5.00 per bathrobe. Please note: Bathrobes are only available on a request basis when you arrive at the park.

Travel cot or bed guard hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. IMPORTANT TRAVEL COT INFORMATION Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. As said above lodge lovely, good location, seemed to look like it was down up recently.

The lodge was very well designed, sofa's comfortable but we found, overall, it was a little austere,

The lodge was very well designed, sofa's comfortable but we found, overall, it was a little austere, no cushions or throws on the sofa's etc. We understand this may be a personal choice and it didn't spoil our staf at all. The bathroom and kitchen fittings were of the highest quality. Next time it may even stop raining!

Fabulous lodge - with fantastic views from the veranda.

Fabulous lodge - with fantastic views from the veranda. Very comfortable inside and spotlessly clean. Kitchen is well equipped and a nice welcome pack of tea towel and washing up liquid was provided. The treats and toy provided for the dog were really appreciated too! This lodge would not suit someone who was bothered by road noise as it backs on to the road (not a main road and not that busy - but you can still hear cars) - but as I live in London it felt blissfully quiet to me! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our week here - and we will return!

The lodge was spacious & well equipped. Think for us it’s a late check in > 4pm ( our lodge wasn’t ready by that time either) and an early check out @ 10 am. So realistically it’s only a 3 day stay. But a clean site.

We enjoyed this short break as usual and we have booked another breakfor December this year and March next year.We never tire of visiting the lovely scenic place in Dorset. This lodge we had this time is far better than the usual Juniper 2.The fridge door has the shelf for the milk and and the shower door was not broken and working perfectly.The downside to this park however is that there are very obvious cut backs as far as the little amenities in the lodge such as the little creature comforts we enjoyed when we first started coming. The usual standard of cleanliness is also lacking in that the dining table was quite sticky in places.
