Our initial experience at the resort was less than ideal. We experienced a delay of over an hour past check-in time before our room was ready. The resort compensated with drink vouchers, but there was noticeable reluctance to offer anything beyond standard options. This was unexpected for a resort of such prestige and price, particularly given the inconvenience on our part. While the staff were sympathetic, it seemed their hands were tied by management policies.
The room itself was satisfactory, though it showed signs of wear. A notable issue was the inconsistent hot water supply, which affected several of our showers. The staff were prompt in addressing our concerns, but the problem persisted. Aside from this, the room was comfortable and we slept well.
During our stay, we noticed the resort was particularly busy with families due to the school holidays. This made the pool area quite hectic, though it did quieten down after 7pm. However, the aftermath of the day’s activities left the area rather untidy.
Dining options within the resort were limited and not very inclusive for those preferring non-meat dishes, prompting us to dine elsewhere. Thankfully, the resort’s location is convenient, surrounded by a variety of food and drink establishments.
In summary, the resort’s natural beauty is undeniable, but the overall service and facility management fell short of our expectations, especially considering the premium cost.
