Hotel is ridiculously overrated on this app. They charged my card before we even arrived despite being told when I booked it that I would be charged upon checkin. When we arrived we came to a hotel room with sticky floors and stained sheets. When we went to the front desk to address the issue, nobody was there. When we checked out we received a call on the way home because they forgot to charge us for the tax. This hotel is in no way worth the $210 a night that we paid for it. Don’t do this hotel if you have other options
Stayed at Tru as it was close to Mets clover park (5miles) Rates jacked up for Spring training and not worth 300 $
Staff not that friendly, had to ask for help while standing at the desk waiting?! Guy thought I was just hanging out?!?!?!??!
Bed not that comfy. Accessible room but only had one chair to sit in. I am not in a wheel chair, and so I had to sit on the bed to just watch tv. Had to wait for egg white omelets to come out of kitchen. It was just an average overpriced stay.
New , clean, comfortable bed. However, design is too sparse. Hanging clothes touch too o fridge, can't fit computer and papers on desk as you work, no drawers for clothes, no comfy chair. Breakfast unique but yogurt makes only plain, pancake maker isn't tasty. Nice people at desk.
The front desk personnel was exceptional. As was the breakfasts. The automatic pancake maker was a first for me. My only concern was I'm used to having more space in my room.
Tru by Hilton was exactly what it was supposed to be...a very nice, clean, basic hotel at a decent price. The hotel itself was immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The gentleman at the desk, Dudley, was very helpful and went out of his way to help me. The only issues I had were 1. The lighting. When I came in and turned on the lights they didn't work. I had to feel my way to the bathroom and call down to the desk. They told me I needed to come back down and get a special card to make them work. ButDudley very kindly brought it up for me. And 2.No coffeepot! I know they have 24 hour coffee downstairs, butwhen I wake up I dont want to trek down 3 floors to get my coffee. Maybe its just me. But I am far from presentable, sometimes downright scary inbthe morning, and I need my coffee ASAP!
