Disgusting, Dirty, Smelly and Run Down
Musty odor hits you the moment you open the door. Raining when we arrived, the master bedroom windows were leaking all over the walls & carpet. Given the nasty smells, I assume this happens often. I have stayed at other pet friendly houses that do not still smell like wet dog. Question if this property was cleaned at all prior to our arrival. The beds were made but not nicely, did not look like fresh linens. Bunk room bed had human body hair in the sheets (so at least one bed did not have clean sheets). Stack of towels were left on the kitchen table for us to fold & put away. Body hair found on sink in upstairs bathroom. Hard surface floors are gritty like they had not been mopped in a long time. Carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed and smelled. Bought cleaning supplies & spent hours cleaning. Tiny black flies were in every bathroom & kitchen. Furniture in bedrooms & living room are stained & smell. Pool pump kept tripping the breaker, mgmt. co. did respond & it was repaired, but continued to trip the breaker. Upper deck had at least one board that appears like it is ready to break through, so for our safety we stayed off the upper deck. Exterior paint is peeling, looks extremely run down compared to other houses nearby. I would not recommend this property to anyone!! It is desperately in need of some serious maintenance & deep cleaning. Wonder what the cleaning fee covers, definitely not arriving to a clean house ready to use.
