Shipwreck cottage is a short walk to the beautiful white sandy beaches of Mexico Beach! Cozy and beautifully furnished, the master bedroom features a king size bed along with a private master bath. The guest bedroom offers two queen bunk beds that can accommodate 4 guest. Spend your day at the beach or by the community pool. Unwind on the back deck and enjoy peek a boo views with the gulf and beautiful sunset colors! ‱‱ Pet Friendly**Pet Fee $50

This was our 3rd stay in Mexico Beach, and this rental, by far, was the best place we stayed at. Virtually a new cottage less than a 3 minute walk to the calm waters of Mexico Beach. Very close to shopping and food. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone that’s planning on staying in the area.

The neighborhood is a great location! Pool close, beach close cottages perfect. Tina our host/manager went above and beyond to make our vacation fantastic. She was fast to act when there was a problem and communication was fast. Will stay again and again.

We were pleased with the much quieter atmosphere at Mexico Beach and the cottage was perfect for our needs. Even though we encountered ann issue on our stay, Tina was very accommodating and attentive. Would recommend to a friend!

Great Place!

This cottage is great, right across the road from the beach, 5 minute walk, sit outside and smell the ocean and feel the breeze, very clean and well stocked. This is our 2nd year staying here and we will be back!

Needs Better Lighting

This was our second time staying in Shipwreck Cottage. We really like the cottage and our only complaint is the lighting. First, there are no lamps in the bedrooms. We find bedside lamps in bedrooms very useful. (I put this comment in the review that I wrote after our first stay in December 2024/January 2025. But there are still no lamps in the bedrooms.) Second, the lamps in the living room are three way lamps, but the light bulbs in the lamps are not three way bulbs. Last, the light over the dining table is not very bright. I know it seems like I am complaining a lot, but we do really like the Shipwreck. We like the location and the overall cottage. I read a lot (especially at the beach) so I am looking for better lighting. I'm sure we will return to Shipwreck, and hopefully there will be brighter lights.

Perfect little beach house.

The house exceded our expectations! Its a lovely little house with everything you'll need. The wifi was a little iffy, but that was probably a service provider issue. That just meant we put our devices down and enjoyed the beach and surroundings a little more.There is a really nice food truck setup less than a 5 minute walk away from the house too. It was a little pricey, but worth it!Oh and there is a liqour store next door with a really good selection to choose from. Long story short...we loved it and plan on staying here again.

Spring Break 2025

This was a great experience overall. From check in to checking out, we truly enjoyed our stay at Shipwreck cottage. Everything was so close to the beach in the revitalized Mexico beach. We were an hour from PCB and only 20 minutes from Port St. joe and had the opportunity to visit multiple beaches. Just a great spring break vacation.

Wonderful week in February 2025

What a place! I was wowed by all the things you would not expect to have in a rental. To name a few simple things like dishwasher, laundry detergents. Soap, shampoo, paper towels. I have stayed at much more expensive places and had none of these simple items. The place is decorated very nicely. Comfortable beds. I mean a short walk to the beach what else could you need. Cozy Cottage

Shipwreck Cottage was great. We really liked the location.The cottage was well supplied except for two items. There was not a clock in the cottage and there were no lamps in the bedrooms. We would have liked to have a clock in the bedrooms and we would have liked to have lamps on the bedside tables in the bedrooms. It would also be nice to have a clock in the living room/dining area. Everything else about the cottage was very good.

Shipwreck Cottage was great!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Shipwreck Cottage in December 2024. Easy walk beach. The house is located in a cute little community with plenty of areas around to walk our dogs. We thought we were going to have a scheduling conflict, and the owner was more than willing to help us with an alternative booking. As it turns out, it wasn't needed, but the helpfulness of the owner was much appreciated. Its a nice, clean, well located property. Book it!

Best Cottage Ever!!

I can’t say enough good things about this cottage. Very clean, cozy, comfortable, well stocked are just a few things that made our vacation amazing! The owner was a pleasure to work with and very quick with communication. I will recommend this place to all of my friends and family. Can’t wait to stay here again!
