Upon leaving, the hotel inexplicably charged me an extra $25 then an extra $5.43. I checked out at the front desk and was told that, since my accommodations were made through a third party (Expedia) that they (Expedia) would send me my final statement rather than the hotel simply printing out my final bill directly. Thus, I had no idea these extra "hidden charges" existed until I had already flown back to my home city. I have not received these kinds of hidden charges with no explanation from other places I have stayed so this seems to be unique to this location. Presumably I am not the only visitor to have these extra charges added after I left. It is too bad that these extra charges were levied for no apparent reason because otherwise my experience at the hotel was fairly decent. These extra charges, though, were an abuse from an organization that had access to my credit card.

No breakfast was available at 7. Had to purchase breakfast on the road. Then when arrived home had charges for items (example parking) I was never advised when booked or when we checked it When I called front desk to inquire about what the unauthorized charges were for, the staff made it clear they couldn’t care less about my concern and made it clear they could add any additional charges they want. My last stay ever at Hampton.

Room was warm, we were in the first room AC not working. Moved to another room and it was ok. The pool was close because the county shut it down?? There was nothing unique except for the poor breakfast which was overcrowded and out of coffee at 8 AM. Nothing left worthwhile by that time. Had to ask three times for towels for the room. Provided only one. If you like being run over by dogs in the hallways, this is the place for you. This hotel once was a model of excellence. Now it is an exemplar of a place you should simply drive by while looking elsewhere.
