I love the location of the hotel but was not aware it was under construction. This was unfortunate as the door to the lobby was closed off and we had to walk a half block to the other door. The noise in the lobby and dining area was unpleasant as we tried to have breakfast. And the entrance to the elevator was through a staff only door. Other than that it, the room was great.

Called 3 weeks prior to make note we were interested in early check in. ( totally understandable if cannot accomodate). Called at 1 as instructed day of and room was not available but asked to still come in so i can be put in the que as being there and waiting for a room. They said guranteed check in for 3 if nothing earlier.. ok no big deal... Showed up at 4 and room still not ready. I mentioned the gentleman i spoke to said guranteed check in and Carol didnt seem to care nor apologize for any delay. Room and location were excellent otherwise. Only valet parking also and although they could of held our luggae i really didnt need my stuff hanging around in the hotel. We still opted to vallet but then that meant to call them back when room was available so we could get our things and finally be able to change. Not one apology. Booked 2 rooms and when one was ready, the other couple had to wait.
