Rhone Retreat
It’s rare to find true Portland character with modern luxury—Rhone Retreat delivers both. This historic Craftsman showcases original hardwoods and period moldings, freshly reimagined by a $300,000 renovation for comfort and style. The headline feature: a spa-inspired primary en-suite with heated floors, soaking tub, and a two-person steam shower—plus a new private hot tub (installed summer 2025) and a 7' pool table for unwinding at home.

The Space
Main Level (social hub): Raised front porch, bright open living/dining, and a fully remodeled chef’s kitchen with instant hot water. Easy flow to the fenced backyard with BBQ and patio seating. You’ll also find a spare room / office—perfect for remote work or quiet focus time—along with one queen bedroom for convenient ground-floor sleeping.

Second Floor (bedrooms):
Primary King Suite: En-suite spa bath with heated floors, soaking tub, two-person steam shower, heated towel rack, and bidet.
Queen Bedroom: Private en-suite bath with modern fixtures and bidet.

Lower Level – Private Quarters: Fully separate living quarters with its own kitchen, lounge area, dining nook, queen bedroom, and full bath—ideal for early sleepers, in-laws, colleagues, or anyone who wants extra privacy.

Stay in the heart of Portland’s best Eastside—Division, Mt. The house was awsome. It was more than big enough, but the kitchen needs to be stocked with bigger, and more frying pans. One medium pan was not enough. The location to food trucks was great. We only had to walk five houses away to reach them. I would stay there again for sure.

Great stay for our group

The home was exactly what our group of 8 needed for a friends wedding weekend in Portland. Bathrooms were beautiful and outdoor areas were great for the cool evenings. The surrounding area is residential and quiet - which is always a plus!

Overall had a great stay! Beautiful, lots of space, and very well kept. Reached out to the owners regarding the AC temp during our visit since it got pretty warm inside and unfortunately they don’t allow guests to adjust the temperature. So if you plan on staying during the summer or run hot definitely keep that in mind.

The Rhone house was a great stay for my family and I, we enjoyed the open space it gave us to be together for the weekend. It was comfortable, and cozy. It felt like home more than a retreat and that was what we wanted. The hosts had great communication and answered our questions/issues right away. Highly recommend a stay here with a close tight group of family or friends.

Family Stay in Portland

The house is a great place to hang out with family. Very open. 3 very nice bathrooms, especially the master bath. Has a built in sauna! Three nice bedrooms. The kitchen is open to the dinning room and living room. Great porch on the front of the house. Close to the Portland city center. The surrounding neighbor hood is very compact.
