Discover our Douro Dream View, a fantastic home with a picturesque view over the Douro River and the city of Porto. You will enjoy a spacious and comfortable residence designed to the highest standards of quality and functionality. It will be the perfect retreat to fully immerse yourself in the true essence of Porto.

The Space:
In the entrance hall, you will find three bedrooms: a spacious en-suite bedroom with a bathtub and shower, a mezzanine bedroom with a beautiful office and balcony, a double bedroom, a support closet, and a bathroom with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

In the living area, you will be captivated by the spacious living room with a large dining table and a guest bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a storage area. We must also highlight that from every room in the house, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the city of Porto. We recommend setting aside your favorite book and reading it in style on the residence’s terrace.

For your convenience, the house features a private garage with three parking spaces, a washer and dryer, electric radiators, a Smart TV with channels, and Wi-Fi.

The Neighborhood:
Located next to Jardim do Morro, where you can enjoy the best sunset, you will be in Vila Nova de Gaia, famous for its Port Wine Cellars. You will have stunning views of the D. LuĂ­s I Bridge, the beautiful Ribeira district, and the main tourist attractions of Porto. The riverside boardwalk just below is the perfect path for a scenic walk to the beaches.

For wine enthusiasts, some cellars to consider visiting are Casa Ferreirinha, Sandeman, CĂĄlem, Graham's, and Quinta do Noval, where you can taste different varieties and learn about their unique characteristics. We also recommend visiting the WOW Multi-Experience Center.

To reach the residence, the best public transport option is the Metro, with Jardim do Morro Station just a 3-minute walk away. If you prefer walking, you can cross the D. Luís I Bridge via the upper deck or head down to Cais de Gaia, cross the bridge, and arrive directly at Porto’s Ribeira. If you are traveling by car, the house has a garage with direct access to the residence.

In the area, you will find everything you need for your daily life, including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and cafés.

Getting Around:
You can request our transfer service whenever necessary (price upon request).

You also have access to a wide network of public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team finds evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), a minimum fine of 200 euros will be applied.

If you lose the key, a replacement cost will be charged (price upon request). If you leave the keys inside the apartment and require our team’s assistance to open the door, there will be a fee of 40€ after 7 PM. If the key is left in the door lock (requiring technical intervention), the cost will be determined upon request.

If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact our team to check availability. If check-out is not authorized and the guest remains in the apartment after the scheduled time, a fee of 200€ per hour will be charged.

For reservations of 28 nights or more, there is a utilities limit (water, electricity, and internet/TV package) of 230€. If this amount is exceeded, the extra cost will be covered by the guest.

The tenant is required to allow entry to a staff member for property inspection whenever requested by the host. Monthly visits are expected for this purpose.

We offer a transfer service that will take you to the apartment! Simply request it (price upon request).

You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast, which can be delivered to your apartment every morning upon request (price upon request).

In order to make Vila Nova de Gaia more attractive, the municipal tourism tax has been implemented. The fee of €2.50 included in the price of the stay applies to guests over 16 years old. It is charged per person and per night, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights (conditions subject to change by local legislation at the time of booking and/or check-in).

Great View - Great Location

Beautiful sunset view looking down at the busy shops and restaurants along the Douro river. Short walk to the bridge over the Douro river to the Porto main centre. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Deck table and chairs worn and some in need of repair but did not deter us from enjoying sitting out. Close to supermarket just a short walk from the Jardim do morro park. We enjoyed our stay here.

Nice but disappointing

The location and size were perfect and you can’t beat the view! Worth noting one of the queen beds is actually two twins pushed together so you have this weird space you fall into in the middle of the bed. Upon arrival I was very disappointed in the cleanliness. There were cobwebs throughout the main living space, the walls are very dirty with handprints and scuffs, and the refrigerator has a horrible smell. They did send a cleaning crew out but it was 5 days later. The smell was never remedied. We had a few other issues which were addressed as well. The table on the deck needs to be replaced, it’s completely fallen apart. The upper level deck was not accessible which was disappointing as the loft gets super hot and there are no windows to air it out. There is a skylight but there was no means to open it. Any time I needed to contact them I received a quick response. If they would put a little TLC into a deep cleaning or even repainting it would go a long way. Definitely replace the fridge, the handles are even broken off! I’ve never had a place not provide coffee, basic pantry/kitchen items, laundry and dishwashing soap so that surprised me. I would stay here again if the above mentioned were taken care of.
