Very welcoming lady on reception which made us feel valued. A lovely lady who recommended a good pub to us and put us on the ground floor as we have a dog. The hotel is in a poor condition however and needs a major refurbishment. There was no lock on the toilet door- just a hole, the walls are pealing and it needs repainting. The carpets in the communal areas are not great. Parking is limited but you can use a local retail park which was fine. Ideal for the port.

A good place to stay.

It was a basic room, but at the price that’s what was expected. Bed was comfortable and large enough for my height. Shops, bars and food outlets in the area.
