Frogmouth Cottage is a drug. If you are diagnosed with a condition needing Tasmanian holiday then you are in trouble. There is no known cure, however frequent visits will alleviate the symptoms. Frogmouth Cottage is the best medicine on your script. The initial effect will be that of a shock and awe on arrival, then when you come to, inducing a state of pleasant delirium for the duration of your stay, transcending and drifting from reality to fantasy on a high nowhere else experienced, almost a fiction but real, as close as it gets to paradise without dying. Hold hands, go for a walk on the wide safe beach, with white clean sand and 40 min. return brisk walk. Feel the sand under your feet, the cool water around your ankles, fresh breeze in your hair, intoxicating pure oxygen in your lungs. Feel detoxing of your body and mind. Idyllic three bedroom house is beautifully renovated and has panoramic windows and open plan layout with a modern kitchen. You will see the beach just in front of you (and your kids playing or exploring rock pools) from the lounge and two bedrooms. Newly furnished and beautifully appointed cottage is all on one level easy for mobility and access.

Comfort is the order of the day and the new furniture with recliners and quality bedding has been specially selected for maximum comfort. Did we mention throw rugs, doonas, soft pillows, electric blankets and hot water bottle?

There are three recliners in the lounge so you can just lay back and enjoy the view.
Three queen beds (two with ocean view) plus a pull out sofa in the lounge. You can comfortably sleep six people in three bedrooms.
There is reverse cycle air conditioning or a wood fire heater for the perfect ambiance.

There is no such thing as a bad day at Frogmouth Cottage, even if the weather is bad and uninviting, you will be cosseted in comfort, looking out enthralled, just glad you are here.

The house is set on nearly 3000m2 of private bushland with 90 metres of beach frontage with private secluded garden and outdoor entertaining area at the rear. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around. There is crown land buffer either side and the neighbours at back are far enough for privacy.

The house has been extended to include private and discreet unit for owners who come to stay for customers service and property maintenance. Owners area is self-contained, separated with privacy screens, sound walls and separate road access. Owners keep a low profile.

Wildlife is abundant: fish and the dolphins, occasional sighting of whales, birds, echidnas, lizards (resident blue tongue lizard "Cherry" who was caught on video taking a swim on the beach) visiting gander, occasional kangaroo and wallaby, swans and much more.

The cottage is away from other houses for privacy. Tucked at the end of the beach against hill the house is protected from winds.
