Great Thanksgiving getaway
Publié le 20 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaySince 2011 we have been coming to the Prince Edward county for our Thanksgiving getting together. According to our family, this year was one of the best Thanksgiving celebration and we should come back to this place for our Thanksgiving getting together in 2024.

Publié le 14 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 8 ladies of a “certain age” celebrating the 10th anniversary of our book club, and The Dans’ place couldn’t have been more amazing. The pictures don’t even do it justice! So much space, room for everyone to have their own bed, comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen is fresh, clean and spacious with high-end appliances that made it a joy to cook our meals. The walk down to the river was wonderful.
The host was very responsive to every message and answered all the questions we had. The keypad entry was easy to use and their house manual had all the info we needed.
We absolutely can’t wait to come stay again! An unforgettable weekend!

Simply GORGEOUS
Publié le 22 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe farmhouse is absolutely stunning, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated; and the land it sits on is breathtaking! the whole scenery is like a postal, gorgeous fields, barns, short walk/hike to the water (perfect direct sunset views), neighbouring horses and lambs, ....
Owner and property manager were both polite, and responsive, and in short notice, would attend to our needs.
I recommend this getaway property to simply relax, and explore all that PEC has to offer.

Homestay Goals

We will definitely stay here again in the future. It's beautiful and peaceful; the perfect staycation property. Thank you Dan for quickly responding to our requests and allowing our little pups to stay with us ☺️ 10/10.

The location is great and we enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer. Would definitely recommend it.

With lots of land, forest and waterfront to explore, it satisfied all of my guests. As a sustainable retreat, it hits all the marks. Simple changes to the BBQ and kitchen appliances will make this property an incredible and memorable experience. Love the owners responsiveness @welcometothedans. 🧖🏽♂️❤️

Wonderful house

The sunsets on the adjacent fields are wonderful. The house itself is peaceful and has been carefully and tastefully renovated and decorated and is exactly as shown on the pictures. We had a wonderful stay.

Great Property
Publié le 22 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayFantastic property. We had two families stay here, and given Covid, we didn't use the Sandbanks passes provided. Because of the size of the property, there was a lot to explore. The kids trekked to the water and did some fishing and relaxing. There is a sheep farm next door that we would visit on walks along the highway. Dan was very responsive and communicative throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect. Overall a great property to unwind from the city, and it was great to venture out to various parts of the county even if it's a bit off the beaten path - Waupoos is very close by (we biked there), and Picton is about a 17 minute drive into town. Would definitely stay again!
