Located in Princeville on Kauai's beautiful North Shore, the tropical Ka'Eo Kai Resort is situated among lush green landscaping, overlooking the number 3 fairway of Makai Golf Club with ocean and mountain views. Only a 10 minute drive away from the famous Hanalei Bay or approximately 15 minutes from the the scenic Kilauea Lighthouse Point & Wildlife Refuge.

This spacious 2B condo sleeps 6 guests and is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. Units have 1 King in the master bedroom, 1 Queen OR 2 Twin beds in the guest room, a Queen sleeper sofa in the living area and 2 full bathrooms. There is a full size, fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area that seats 6 as well as a washer/dryer combo. Each unit has a large private furnished lanai.

**Note: Air conditioning is not available however the unit does have ceilings fans in all rooms and jalousie windows that allow the cooling island trade winds to breeze through the unit.

**Note: The State of Hawaii requires all Resorts to collect a Hawaii Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) which is based on unit size. The front desk will collect this tax at check out. The rate for this 2 Bedroom unit is $15-17/day.

** Note: The photos here are representative. All units are floating usage and actual units are assigned 24 hours before check in. While decor is very similar throughout, floor plans and views will vary and lower floor units do not have vaulted ceilings. Tout est trÚs bien. Seul chose, les photos semblent montrer un logement a l'étage... Mais non, en rez de chaussée. C'est un ensemble d'appartement gérer comme un hÎtel.

Would reconsider for kids

We were originally drawn to the "Walkable to Anini Beach Trailhead" title, but quickly found we were fooled. While it is technically "walkable" at 0.5 miles, we were highly encouraged by the concierge NOT to use this trail to access the beach as it was unsafe and no longer recommended by any of the area hotels/complexes. For reference, the closest other beach (as recommended by management) was about an hour walk and includes 200 stairs. Pool was lovely. We have 2 small children, so perhaps you take the rest of this review with a grain of salt? Abuts a golf course which is pretty to look at but inaccessible even to stroll after hours without trespassing. No tubs in our unit, only showers which made bath time interesting (we didn't choose this - you just get what you get when you arrive). Noise carried readily as the unit had very thin walls and ceilings. The layout of the units basically made it so that if a neighbor was having a conversation on their patio (at a reasonable level)...or walking, then anyone above, below, or across the sidewalk could easily hear. Our patio was ground level and covered in chicken poop so we didn't enjoy this space. Multiple cabinets were broken in the bathroom and kitchen which lead to more than a few foot injuries.

Problem needs attention

Took us a few days to find a reason for all of the flies in the unit. We arrived on Friday and contacted the office about the flies on Monday and they sent a maintenance person over with bug spray and after seeing the amount flies he thought we should ask to move to another unit but we decided to see if the spraying worked but they kept coming from some where so we started looking for any areas that they might be coming in and found a screen and a window panel in the spare bedroom by the front door that needed attention. We fixed the window as best we could but could not get the screen to fit as well as it should in the window. After we did this we saw very few flies the rest of our stay. We let the office know about the issue when we checked out. If not for the flies the place is beautiful and we didn't let this ruin our stay. We love Hawaii and have been many times so we will be back again to visit and I would have no problem staying at the same location.

Nice Condo

We enjoyed our condo, and our stay. The Wyndham condos are always a safe bet. Princeville is a beautiful area. If you’re a golfer this is the place to be. It does rain almost daily on this side of the island, but we expected that and rolled with it.

Huge and beautiful condo

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was really spacious and clean. The location in Princeville was ideal for us, close to hiking, surfing and beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean and pleasant

Staff was friendly and helpful, unit and complex are dated but clean and well maintained. Condo was very large and location is great for easy exit from Princeville. Overall, very nice stay.
