Historic River Front Farmhouse Near Wineries-Private waterfront! Winery tour!

Discover beauty and serenity at this river front classic farm house built in 1925. Perfectly nestled amidst a host of mature pine and walnut trees, alive with squirrels and flitting birds, the home even has its own path winding down to a private beach along the river. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the river with a glass of local wine while reclining on the open patio. Much work has gone into diligently preserving the original nostalgia of the home while updating to modern comforts and amenities. Pets are welcome.
A perfect, quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from downtown Prosser complete with restaurants, bars, and shopping. The home is just minutes away from the finest wineries and also the renowned wine village. Casual driving is simple and easy with all amenities close by. You can walk or bicycle to downtown, or drive just a few minutes to get to local wineries. We have also partnered up with Mercer Winery for a private tour opportunity for our guests!

Exceeded already-high expectations! Wonderful 100yo farm house with tons of character and charm. Decor and amenities kept with the nostalgic vibe. We had fun exploring all the house had to offer. A quick weekend getaway for two. The house is full of character and is a step back in time. Very peaceful and comfortable. The BBQ Restaurant across the street is amazing. I will come back and stay again just for an excuse to go to Neighbor's BBQ!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It is a peaceful setting on the river, yet only a block away from town. Quiet yet conveniently located. The dogs loved the large fenced yard & enjoyed chasing each other till they ran out of breath! We enjoyed relaxing on the shady porch with our coffee as we watched the fun!

Amazing place!

Just perfection. We loved this home. Only downfall was dogs found 2 dirty old socks and a bunch of fishing line when playing in front yard. We would definitely come here again, love hanging by the river eating food and drinking wine. Thank you!

Unique Gem with Stellar River Views

This 2 bed, 1 bath historic home is a true delight. Cozy, comfortable, full of antiques, and boasting an amazing "sunroom" we could have lived in exclusively. The photos don't do it justice (but close).The expansive deck and tiered landscaping, right down to the river, is unbeatable for enjoying morning coffee, wine and snacks, and watching both the wildlife and the resident chickens next door -- who keep the lawn free of bugs. The home is easy walking distance to the equally delightful historic town of Prosser. Dog walks in the morning and shopping in the afternoon. The best barbeque we've ever eaten is right across the street at Neighbor's. Just be sure you check hours, because they change with the season. Prosser House restaurant a couple of blocks away has great ambience, cocktails, and food. There are almost a dozen tasting rooms a very short drive away in Vintner's Village. Beautiful grounds too. You're 20 minutes from the Red Mountain wineries in Benton. Michael and Linde are attentive and welcoming hosts. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for four days of wine tasting and relaxing.

Wonderful anniversary getaway

The location of the Riverhouse was convenient to town yet quiet. We enjoyed the sunsets from this beautiful riverside property, as well as the birds and the two friendly neighbor dogs and chickens! Front yard was fully fenced with a nice green lawn for our dog. In addition, the house was comfortable and interestingly furnished. Thanks for the pleasant experience!

Cutest riverside cottage

From start to finish it was Five stars!!! Michael was very quick to respond to any of our questions and our needs. It was the cutest Vrbo on the yakima River with a beautiful yard and setting. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed wine tasting, playing games and great conversation with friends. Thank you so much for a lovely time. We will be back!!!!

Beautiful little place in Prosser

We loved the property located in Prosser, WA. It's old world charm and beautiful waterfront location is fantastic. You can't beat being in the middle of town, but feeling like you aren't! Recommend if you are going to spend any time in Prosser and need a wonderful experience.

Weekend Getaway

My partner and I made our first trip to Prosser wine tasting and stayed at the Rustic Riverhouse. Loved this place, I felt like I was stepping back in time and at my grandma’s house. Beautifully decorated, everything you need, comfy bed and a great deck to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view, the chickens next door and everything else there is to enjoy! We definitely will be back.

Peaceful Stay in Prosser
