The worst part about this hotel? No elevator. It's not a big deal since the hotel is only two levels. However, if you have heavy bags like we did, there is help. The place is very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. My husband really enjoyed their "Cafe de la olla" which is essentially brewed coffee, as we enjoy it here in the states. The part he enjoyed was that they flavored it with cinnamon sticks. The rooms are big and well maintained. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is well equipped, and it even comes with a bathtub, a rarity in Mexico hotels. I highly recommend their hot stone massages. We enjoyed a couples massage. It was very relaxing. This hotel is only a few block from the city square and several businesses.

Great property and beautiful rooms. The staff is helpful and everyone is nice. The location is perfect and you're in the middle of everything. I'll be back for sure! Some areas of improvement: Replace the safes or provide clearer instructions. Use better quality toiletries. The body lotion is useless and mostly water. Replace the robes. They only fit children. Thanks for a great stay!

Staff indifferent. No water, no hot water.

Would absolutely NOT stay here again. The room allocated to us was in the back of the building, did not have functioning windows, and a bathroom with an odd with a half glass wall. The room was muggy, smelled of moisture. The only solution offered was to run the AC which did nothing to remedy the issue. The bathroom offered zero privacy. I shared the room w my husband and you could hear everything that happened on the other side of that pane of frosted glass. We asked to be moved to another room as this was not what was reserved on Hotels. The receptionist promised to look into it and never bothered. The bathroom sink did not work, water barely sputtered out but I managed. The next morning the sink was back to normal, but after running the shower for 15+ minutes I could not get hot water to run. Went to call the front desk and the phone wasn’t working. Quick google search I called the front desk via my cellphone. Receptionist that answered told me they would look into the hot water issue. When I told them about the sputtering sink, she let me know that the hotel had run out of water but not to worry as it had been refilled that morning. Hot water was never restored and I never did get my shower. Upon check out I reiterated my issues and the girl checking us out laughed and shrugged. I honestly feel that we should be refunded. I reached out to the Hotels.com live chat and found the experience fruitless. Overall terrible.

We would highly recomend this hotel to others. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were all attentive and kind. The breakfast was good and they had vegetarian options.

Excellent spot, customer service was great! They let us check in early due to our early arrival. CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE ROOM. The only thing I disliked was a large beeping sound emitting from smoke detector in the center of the room. It would beep every 2 minutes…..besides that, the location is great and in the center of everything. Would recommend and contemplate staying here again if they fix the loud beeping

This is a beautiful property, friendly and accommodating staff, good sized rooms, great location with lots of history. The area is very safe and easy access to all the historical attractions. Book with confidence, you won’t be disappointed. We’ve been traveling parts of Mexico for 6 weeks, this was our favourite stay.
