The place is nice and has a pool and hot tub. We got two rooms and one of them had issues with the AC. Please know that if you don’t have hot water, just let them know and they will change the propane tank. Breakfast was included and really good!

Great location, friendly staff, clean. Loved the lounge area outside our room with good internet. Some noise from the evening activities in town, warm water was on and off(but manageable) and internet was strongest in the reception and Lou areas. Would come back!

Safe and quiet place, no tv in the rooms, this was not in any of the room descriptions. 2 pools 2 hot tubs, only 1 hot tub working. All pools had sand, leaves and debris, didn’t see a single person cleaning them during our 2 day stay. Overall ok, but can improve

This is a great little hotel. Perfectly situated in the little town along the waterfront. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was great staff absolutely amazing. Five stars across the board. This hotel is not fancy. It’s just really really good highly recommend.

Some front desk staff are friendly and helpful, some are indifferent. Wi-Fi works in the lobby, but only sometimes in the room :( Breakfast is good with fresh eggs cooked as you wish. Drinking water provided in the room and in the lobby, along with tea and coffee. Huge bathroom in room 5.

Nice enough property just poor service

Hotel is ok, a bit tired but not dirty or a problem. Service is not good. Some of our group booked a 3 bed room and the hotel made a mistake and gave it to someone else... There first responce was 'oh well" the eventually after a lot of complaining gave them a 2nd room. They have no elevators and small staircases and offer no help getting bags up or down.

Great view from the room. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful, near a few nice beach with plenty of sea lions. Also many restaurants and bars nearby. Yet, at night time, it was very quiet. All you hear is the ocean. Good breakfast included. Wish the wifi in the room is stronger.

Not their fault but once again Hotels.com didnt send them my booking. Luckily they had space. Hotel is basic and for the price you can get better in San Cristobal. Location is very good and very close to everything.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town. The room had a balcony and hammock, overlooking the harbor and ocean. Daily housekeeping and fresh drinking water were provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate, as is typical of South American hotels. We had an afternoon ferry, so we had access to the pool, towels, and coffee and tea. There were two pools, and a pleasant garden.

This beautiful property is in the main path and waterfront, 50 yards away lay over a dozen sea lions each day ...an incredible sight. Great restaurants also yards away...The Pier Restaurant is amazing btw. Tatiana, the hotel's manager and her assistant are wonderful. They patiently explained everything to us, looked for excursions, and even walked us to the agency. The breakfasts are delicious and abundant, set outside with a water view, while finches come tableside. They also have water, coffee, cocoa, and tea avail all day and a refrigerator if you want to keep food. The only down side the bathrooms need upkeep...lighting and hot/cold water faucets.

The hotel staff provided great information about the island and activities. Close to almost everything that is walkable on the island. Only issue the toilet Does not accept tissue paper and the toilet tissue bin was small. Overall great experience

Amazing mid-market Inn. This little Boutique hotel was fantastic, right on harbor (disregard whiny reviews about the sea lion noise, close your bloody door if you don’t like it!). The IHG Indigo hotel next door a great counter point. Same view impersonal service corporate vibe and three times the price. We highly recomend this more authentic, classic experience. Breakfast thoughtful and plentiful (custom eggs, fruit, granola, fresh juice & breads) rooms bright and spacious (no tv and small baths, think European Inn). Very nice pools, attentive staff

Sea lions and Sunshine

Right from our first moment we loved Casa Opuntia. The team is super friendly and really cares. They provided insight on day trips and even arranged in room massages for us. Loved our room which had front and back balconies and a view of the harbour. The sea lions were pretty noisy, but how could you not love that!
