It was a clean resort with friendly staff! Nice grounds and a variety of food choices. Nice little coffee shop with healthy snacks open all day. Evening entertainment was good but not great. Great place for families with kid pools and entertainment if that’s what you’re looking for.

We recently stayed at Dreams Riviera Cancun with the expectation of receiving the level of quality and service that the Dreams brand represents. Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of those standards. From the outset, there were issues with our room assignment. We had specifically booked a room with a jacuzzi on the porch, which was an important feature for our stay. Upon arrival, we were informed that due to a wedding on property, that room type was not available. While we understand that events take place at resorts, we do not believe that another guest’s event should impact a confirmed reservation. The alternative room provided did not reflect what we had reserved or paid for. Additionally, our room was located directly next to the housekeeping area. This proved to be both noisy and unpleasant. Being next to a service area created constant disruption, and the proximity to cleaning operations made the location feel inappropriate for a guest room in a resort of this caliber. Despite being next to housekeeping, our room was serviced only once during our stay. Having to repeatedly question basic housekeeping standards while physically adjacent to the housekeeping hub was both frustrating and concerning. We also experienced issues with food quality. While management did attempt to address our concerns after we escalated them and arranged special dining accommodations, even those arrangements fell short.

The rooms were great, very clean and well taken care of. All the staff were incredible, polite, and helpful. I did not give this five stars because the food was not good. The variety of restaurants is good but the steak we had at Seaside grill was gross, half of the clams in my meal at Oceana weren’t open which means they are not edible, the Mexican restaurant was the worst out of all of them with stale tortilla chips and bad entrees. We had our best meal at Boudreaux, however, one of the steaks for our group was rare when ordered medium. We didn’t have a chance to try Portofino because their wait was really long for a table.

Food was very good, with access to all restaurants. However resort music was very loud most of the day, which was a negative as expressed by seniors and young couples alike. Costs for bottles of wine ridiculously high.

Kid friendly, thats great but i must have missed that. Chairs were gone and reserved by 8am everyday. Also, hard pressure sales to come visit their secrets resorts as a part of their vacation club. Big turn off.

A mature, beautiful resort. What stood out was the service. From the time that we arrived, we were ushered through the check in steps effortlessly by Sergio and the check in team. Great restaurants, although the specialty restaurants were a bit chaotic (to be expected). Francisco in particular was exceptional. The Seaside Grill was our morning haven, sunrises with breakfast. Great fitness facilities. Even though the resort is a bit older than others, it is better because of the maturity and professionalism of the team. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Just right for a 3-generations vacation. Different levels of pools for all ages. Fairly consistent, good food. Sometimes hit and miss at the buffet. Overall nice and clean. Not too many activities. Which is what we like.

The rooms are great and the resort is beautiful, but the walls are thin and if you’re looking for something a little more quiet, this is probably not your place. If you’re looking for great beaches, good food lots of drinks then this is your place.
