A great one bedroom, one bath, kitchen, living space, with a great view and short 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Well furnished. Owners are helpful and accommodating. Pet friendly. It was a joy to have such a beautiful view and relaxing environment. Its a winner and a place to return to, a real favorite.

2 days of sun and surf

A completely relaxing 2 days; no clocks and nothing to do.Downside, no actual beach for swimming. At high tide water is all the way up to the sand cliff; low tide, it is way out there.

Casita was beautiful view from deck was nice. Ocean view but no beach view. Read carefully (steps to the beach) very difficult acess. Still a lovely well kept property. Pet friendly was important to us.

We had a really great time here, staying over New Year's for a few days. The owners were very helpful and respectful. Steps from the Beach and close to The Malecon and other areas of Rocky Point, and a new WalMart very close by - if you need one. Great sunset viewing. And their dog was really cool, too - coming by to check on us each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay but the beach is a bit difficult to access. We walked down the road and found an access with stairs. Nice casita, good location, and very clean. Refrigerator is loud but bedroom has door so not a problem at night.

Great beach getaway

The casita was perfect for a mother daughter getaway. My daughter lives in Alaska and really appreciated the sun and warm ocean! We were comfortable and had everything we needed. Because of the border closure we were virtually the only people in the area and enjoyed our private beach immensely! The flocks of pelicans were mesmerizing to watch skimming over the calm waters, and we loved the gorgeous sunsets. We were so happy we could bring our dog with us. She LOVED the beach! The only downside was the flies, about which we were warned, but the provided coils helped, and the breeze on the upper deck helped keep them at bay. Jack and Joni were so helpful. Jack phoned me before we left to let me know about the border closure and offered to reschedule us. We elected to come anyway, getting through at Lukeville the day before it closed. Jack assured me that the drive to the border crossing near Yuma was safe, and we made it through with no problem on our return. We enjoyed dinners and a breakfast at places Joni and Jack recommended. We barely scratched the surface of Puerto Penasco's delights and will surely be back and hope to stay at this treasure of a casita again.

Great Location!

This place was great. Location was great. It was clean and you’re steps from the shore. The only issue we had was with the key not working that well. It took a few minutes to get inside each time we came back to the residence. It got resolved though. Overall, it totally worth it.

Las Conchas Getaway

This comfortable casita is lovely, clean, has a great view. Hosts are next door. They are very welcoming and helpful. The beach is down a slope so walking back up is a good workout. There are also stairs one can use. The beach and sea are gorgeous. We were there during the week, not weekend, so few others were around.

Our Rocky Point Stay with Our Dogs

We always have a difficult time finding Rocky Point villas to rent with our dogs. This place was very nice and comfortable. We met the owners and they were also very friendly. The only problem was the strong winds causing banging noise throughout the first night. Plus we were very upset when VRBO collected an extra $200 from our bill (unbeknownst to us) . We booked online - NOT on a VRBO site.
