One of our rooms was not cleaned and ready for a new guest. We checked in at 3pm, so rooms should have been ready. They could not find my booking through Hotels.ca and wanted to charge me for the rooms again. Took them about 10-15 minutes to find the original paid for reservation. Most staff do not seem to know what they are doing at all.

The room view was great! The breakfast was also plentiful. The front desk service was excellent. The only downside was that they didn't change the sheets from the previous guests. I booked three rooms, and two of the beds had sand and wrinkles, and also smelled bad! Very disappointing, especially considering the price wasn't cheap!

I have stayed at the city express plus Marriott in Puerto Vallarta many times and I’m always happy with the service. The hotel is centrally, located to shopping centers and bus lines taxis, and restaurants. Highly recommend it.

Air con was efficient and responsive , clean room and bathroom. It was not made clear to obtain a pool towel one must submit their room key card. They cleaned the room around 1300h Breakfast was in 2 parts: 1stly basic is included in price and need to pay for hot prepared items.

I booked because this hotel show in the web page shuttle service included. Once at the airport I was told by telephone there was service only on a 10 km radius and they won't be able to pick me up. I took an Uber and noticed the ride was only 4 km. When I asked the front desk about it, the lady seemed upset, then she told me the hotel doesn't have pick up service, only drop off, and that would be over the pedestrian bridge outside of the airport because they don't have authorization to get into the airport. On my way back the driver also seemed upset because he had to drop me back to the airport. The room was neat and clean, it's a shame the service was so bad and their advertisement misleading.
