Who are we?

My wife and I have three grown children and a set of twin girls (6 years old). We wanted a luxurious place that my wife and I could enjoy when we travel with friends and where the girls would have activities tailored for them (VDP and Garza Blanca have kids camp), and sometimes we want adult only (Hotel Mousai). The Tafer properties offer all of that and in different locations.

We have already purchased our vacations for the next 50 years - and use VRBO to sell unused vacation time.

How does the process work?

1) You request the time you would like to travel (Sat-Sat, or Sun-Sun)

2) We check availability and approve you to reserve if there is room. You make your first payment.

3) 60 days prior to your trip and after the 2nd payment (last time to cancel with VRBO) we call the resort and give them your name and email and the reservation is 100% yours.

4) The reservation is now in your name and we cannot modify anything. Should you need to change the booked trip - you can schedule a new week directly with the hotel. They CANNOT refund your money.

5) About 30 days before the trip, a pre-arrival concierge will reach out to you. You can arrange transportation to the hotel, reserve an excursions, get all-inclusive meal plan, make dinner reservations.

6) Enjoy your trip

Comments:

1) All inclusive(AI) - is $150/per person, per day. ($125 in Puerta Vallarta Garza Blanca). There is a 10% discount for pre-purchasing 5 consecutive days. If you want to eat or drink A LOT then this can save you money. If you don’t eat a lot (or skip meals), or if you drink more than 4 drinks a day, then AI may be for you. AI is by room, not individual. If one person wants it - everyone has to get it.

2) Make dinner reservations for the whole week with the concierge before you arrive. During holiday seasons certain restaurants fill up fast.

3) There are always cooking classes, aerobics, and other classes offered by the resort. Ask the concierge about this ahead of time and reserve your spot.
