The stay exceeded my expectations. Humberto we’re so gracious and kind during the entire day. The breakfast was phenomenal as part of the room stay. if I was to give any recommendation or suggestion, it would be ceiling fans in the rooms.

The hotel is very comfortable and well located. The rooftop pool is beautiful. The breakfast area isn’t very well defined, but you can ask.

We booked 5 nights in the Patron Suite and only stayed one night. It was a night from hell. The noise level was so extreme that we felt like we were inside a nightclub. We got zero sleep that night after a long day of travel. At 1:30 am the front desk said we could go sleep in another room but at that point, I couldn’t imagine packing up all our stuff. In addition, the partial “ocean view” overlooked a car junkyard, there were cockroaches in the room, and the breakfast service was a nightmare. They had one poor lady taking orders and cooking for the entire hotel. Meanwhile, next to the dining area there were 3 men at reception doing absolutely nothing. They can’t help pour coffee? Now the hotel is saying that they won’t refund my stay, even though I was told they would, based on the “terms and conditions” of noise. I am well travelled, and love Sayulita, but I have never had such a bad experience (even in my hostel days). I understand that outside noise can sometimes be unavoidable but this was next level terrorizing. And now they won’t give a refund? On the bright side, one of the employees recommended La Puesta and it was delightful. Don’t waste your money or time at Saylinda hotel; there is nothing “linda” about it. I’m sure that the management will respond with some patronizing ChatGPT response to this review. If I could give zero stars, I would gladly do so.

En general, el hotel es muy agradable y cumple con las expectativas. Las instalaciones son bonitas y cómodas, ideales para descansar y disfrutar de la estancia. Únicamente el servicio durante el desayuno fue un poco lento y la variedad de opciones es limitada, aunque cumple con lo básico.

The building itself was very nice. On one hand, location is great. On other hand, it's a bit much. Loud music until 2-3am some nights. But, incredible access to beach and local food/shops. The bar/pool = extraordinary. Food/breakfast - pretty good. People = very very nice. Bartenders = very chill. AC worked great. High quality T.P. (seriously). Concierge was helpful. English speakers on staff.

Adorable boutique hotel in a great location and nice rooftop views. Unfortunately the music from the street went on until 5am hence the much needed ear plugs they provide. Room was super small and basic. Good breakfast included. Only stayed for one night and moved to quieter hotel for the rest of the stay.
