The Cottage at Hale Hill Farm - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms
The Cottage at Hale Hill Farm is a spacious, recently converted, cottage that lies within an area of outstanding and natural beauty, in a peaceful setting, on the edge of the South Downs. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and is ideal for a family or for 2 couples to share.
There is a well equipped family kitchen with table and chairs, which includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. A stable door leads to the enclosed south west facing garden, which has a picnic table and barbecue. The large area of lawn at the rear of the cottage is also for guest use.
The sitting room offers a really great space and features a vaulted ceiling, as well as a wood burner at one end making it lovely and cosy in the winter months. Two patio doors open onto the gardens, so in the warmer months you can enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the sitting room.
There is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is a triple room containing a double bed and a single bed. Both the bedrooms have patio doors opening on to a decked veranda with wonderful views of the countryside. There is a family bathroom which has a bath with shower attachment. A travel cot and high chair are also available.
A lovely stay at the Cottage, perfect for our family Christmas. We had a fabulous Christmas tree to greet us on arrival and a kitchen equipped to cope with Christmas dinner. Couldnât have asked for better, thank you Clare, fantastic hosts and a delightful place to stay!
The location of this house is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful with wonderful open views where you can watch the deer and pheasants come and go! Lovely helpful owners on site but not intrusive. Weather was unseasonably warm so we only had a fire on two evenings in the spacious lounge. Bedrooms are a good size with open views, the king size bed is a very good quality and was really comfortable. Enjoyed visiting Arundel and doing local walks from the property.
We did not feel we should have had to strip beds bundle up towels etc and then separate them Into Black sacks surely this is the job of the cleaners not the guests we understand about Covid 19 problems but the cleaning persons or cleaning Co should carry out the cleaning in PPE attire as the rules suggest . When we opened the oven we found a thick layer of white fat which had been left we guss from the previous let we fill these are minor points but ones that need consideration
Lovely place to relax. Quiet and with the lovely scenery of south England. Claire was lovely to deal with and very helpful. The cottage was big, spotless and had the warmth of home. Would definitely stay again !!!
