Our Premier room was excellent but the other two rooms we had for our adult children were very disappointing and spartan - not what we expected for such a high rate. The other disappointments were the lack of walking and running paths. It was very hard to go for long runs or walks that did not require going on the road. Finally the oppressive tip culture, which I do not blame on the employees, was tiring. This is the worst when going down to sit on a beach chair and really bad at Catalina Island where vendors are on you to buy jewelry, rent snorkeling gear, etc. The food was better than expected and the weather, pools and beaches very nice. The problem we had, was that we payed Four Seasons\St Regis Rates (where we usually stay, and the experience was Disney\Atlantis.

We were upgraded to an amazing villa. That was the bright spot to the experience. The service did not match the cost. Value was not there. Best way to describe is Marriott vibes with a bureaucratic undertone. The farthest thing you could get from five star. If I was taking over the resort I would fire everyone and start from scratch.

what a pleasant surprise! Beautiful property (over 7,000 acres), loved the golf cart for getting around, amazing restaurants, some of the BEST cocktails (thank you Yulissa!), such personalized concierge service from Verny. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to call or text anytime even if he was off! Sergio drove us around and made us feel right at home. I wish we'd know of him sooner.... we will definitely reach out to him in the future WHEN we return. I'll be honest, I didn't have the best impression of the DR from a previous stay in Punta Cana. But this is other level. Highly recommend! Oh yeah, our room was big and so comfortable. Very clean and felt new. Loved this trip so much!

I found this hotel absolutely amazing—perfect in every way. I honestly don’t even know what to say because it was so beautiful. The staff are incredibly attentive and treat you exceptionally well, starting from the doorman. Wow, this hotel is truly world-class.

the worst experience the check in time took around one hour, the villa was not high end for the price charge, we didn't had hot water. the villa was super old inside they need update on the whole interior, the main door was hard to open from outside they had to come and open for us
