Grand Bavaro Princess is a very nice and large resort with plenty of restaurants and food choices. The staff is friendly and provides good service throughout the property. The only thing I did not like was being constantly approached with offers of free gifts, memberships, and sales presentations. I am on vacation to relax, and I have no interest in sitting through marketing pitches or listening to advertisements. Guests should be able to enjoy their vacation without feeling pressured or interrupted. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. However, the bath towels are old, worn out, and should be replaced with newer ones. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend the resort for its beautiful property, variety of dining options, and friendly staff. A few improvements in guest experience and towel quality would make the resort even better.

Starting off with the rooms they are very nice but the air doesn’t work (we brought our own fan thank god), the mini bar isn’t cold, balcony doesn’t lock, housekeeping will knock on your door and try and open it at 6-8 every day (even if the do not disturb sign is out), we spilled something on our sheet so I put it in the corner for housekeeping they put it back on the bed two days in a row, and we lifted up the couch cushions and there was bathing suit bottoms and a hair brush that didn’t belong to us…. Next starting with the food it was not good by any means. One all the drinks they have is coke, sprite, water, and alcohol. There was multiple nights we had made dinner reservations and ended up going to the buffet after because the food was so bad. The only restaurant we liked was the steakhouse and the pizzeria. If you have any allergies with food I do NOT recommend here the cross contamination is horrible. Next staff it was very hard to understand everyone at the entire resort. For excursions if you book with the resort, do not pay the full price we went in there twice and they gave us multiple different numbers. They can give up to 20% off. Even though the peacocks are beautiful, they are very annoying and they are very loud. They are worse than roosters… If you would like an enjoyable day on the beach, sit very far back from the ocean. Every five minutes there will be at least eight people coming up to try and sell you something.

I would not recommend staying here. There is absolutely no entertainment, the drinks are watered down, I found cockroaches in my room, the food is subpar, and I got catcalled by almost every male worker that worked there. The only thing good I would have to say about this resort is the grounds are well kept. Overall, I felt very unsafe travelling around this resort as a female, and was bored most of my trip.

The resort is beautiful, staff were friendly, except the drivers that don’t open their mouth to answer questions, Ps: I do speak Spanish do, so no excuse, the guests give the sellers from the beach water bottles and they simply damp empty one anywhere they feel like,inside the resort also needs some attention with empty cups water bottles everywhere, at the beach Only Johnny was attempting to maintain clean.

Room was well appointed, clean, nice amenities. Grounds were clean and well kept. Beach was amazing; waves in mornings and calmer in afternoons. The food was superb. We really enjoyed the Main Buffet Restaurant for lunches and the specialty restaurants for Diner. We really enjoyed our stay of 4 days.
