The resort is immaculate. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is good. The beach is beautiful. Best of all, my daughter who’s in a wheelchair was able to get everywhere and was so well cared for by the staff!! We will be back!!

The property had a lot of beautiful palm trees and a lot of swimming pools to choose from The staff was terrible - none of them approachable - their faces look like they didn’t want to be at work - you say hello and you barely get a response - The person making the omelette had a bad attitude and made the omelette sloppy with a don’t care demeanor - The bald headed gentleman at the blackjack table was so mean spirited - we had to leave - just a very bad attitude - I asked for his name and at first the lady I asked told me she didn’t know his name - then she said ‘I think his name is Frankie or Franklee’ - I don’t know if that was his correct name because I really wanted to report his behavior. I had plan not to tip for bad service - but on my last night there- for the first time I had turn down service - didn’t get that on the previous nights - I was in a rush to meet friends and left 20$ on top of my credit card and driver’s license along with others things on the dresser and by the time I had dinner and came back to the room I noticed I had turn down service and my folded up 20$ was gone - luckily they didn’t take my cc or driver’s license - no one came in at night before so I didn’t think anyone would have come in that night I would not recommend Riu Bávaro to anyone

Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities

Every single staff member I came in contact with treated me so poorly and rude. They were extremely aggressive and very unwelcoming. I also felt very unsafe. One guy demanded entry into our oil and refuse to leave. Overall a terrible experience. The included transport has many issues. They barely wanted to take back to the airport. Everyone had a disgusting attitude.

The Rui is beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful… Food and drinks were on point… The only complaint I have is I upgraded my room to the oceanfront swim out which was beautiful and clean but had a terrible sewage odor… They were not able to fix it but they did send a nice package with a note apologizing…champagne and souvenirs… Luckily we brought incense which helped a lot with the smell
