Please consider adding more handrails for the steps on the adult side especially. The inside ramps were wonderful but sometimes were confusing

Had the best stay at Serenade! The hotel itself was newly updated and kept very clean. All the staff was super helpful and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Our trip would not have been the same without Kelly. She hosted us for the extent of our stay and she didn’t miss a beat. From the moment we arrived she helped us plan our whole trip within 20 minutes and had us on the beach with drink in our hands. She checked in with us regularly even picked us up if we had a far walk. She truly made the experience 5 star and I can’t wait to go back!! Thank you Serenade and most of all Kelly.

Our stay at Serenade was great. All our needs and requests were taken care of by Kelly. She made reservations every night at a dfferent restaurant to ensure we had a chance to try them all. Anything you needed was just a text away. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at the Serenade All suites adults only resort. The property is beautiful, new and clean. We loved our room!! Very spacious! We especially liked that the toilet had its own room. Pillows need to be changed, too floppy. The vibe of the resort isn’t like other adults only resorts we’ve experienced, this one was more chill and relaxed. Be sure to wake up early to save beach chairs. We would wake up at 6:45am to put towels on beach chairs, we enjoyed hanging out by the pool with music and those beach chairs go fast! There is a pool area where no music is being played as well, nice and quiet. The food at the buffet and restaurants were ok, nothing spectacular. There is a huge selection of food at the buffet. The only thing I would say is that the food wasn’t hot enough, need to work on the food temperature. We loved the coffee bar as well! Minor things: Bring your own travel size shampoo and conditioner, the ones available aren’t the greatest. If you are looking for transportation to and from airport, we always use Amstar, very professional and reasonable rates, we do private shuttle.

1 of 2 Want to do a complete review because some may find these items perfectly acceptable. Stayed 6 nights, junior suite, 3rd floor. No airport transport- set up ourselves. Roads to resort were rough so arrive during daylight hours to avoid falling into the wide trenches in the middle of the road. Check-in. Received no explanation of amenities, hours, room service, etc. No map to guide our day. Sun was BEAUTIFUL and around 85 degrees each day. Pools were VERY cold. Lounge chairs were comfortable and nicely spaced with shade or sun accessible poolside. Beaches were wrought with seaweed. They manually raked virtually all day into piles and a truck came by in the evening to shovel piles into. Certainly not a “beach” resort if that’s what you are looking for. Food: two buffets on the adult side, Italian, steakhouse that also does Brazilian style. The ala cart steak was terrible as was the soup but the Brazilian was much better. Also a Chinese restaurant that does ala cart including sushi and hibachi. The hibachi was ok but the chef cooking was excellent. The buffets were ok and you needed no reservation but service to get your soda or coffee was painfully slow. You need to know basic Spanish at this resort because 95 percent of staff do not understand if you speak English. That’s was actually fine most of the time unless you have a problem and don’t know how to explain it in Spanish.
