The Sunset Inn was a wonderful choice for our overnight in Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte. It's a great location right across the street from Charlotte Harbor and close to everything we wanted to do in Punta Gorda. The Inn's property is beautifully landscaped and well kept. The suite is very clean, the bed very comfortable and the mini kitchen area had everything needed for cooking (although we ate out the entire weekend.) Correspondence from the host was timely and informative and the property manager was quick to respond to my emails. Check-in was a breeze.
The Sunset Inn was very clean, and nicely decorated too. Included coffee with a Keurig, coffee maker, and other great accommodations/amenities! Usually on vacation⊠either my husband or I complain about the bed being uncomfortable and we never once had to say that on this trip!! That js HUGE!!
We could actually see Charlotte Harbor across the road from the Sunset Inn. There is also a park along the water, with walking paths and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view.
We booked our vacation within a week or two from traveling. We generally visit southwest Florida once or twice every . Instead of staying where we typically do, we did a search and came across the Sunset Inn. We are so thankful that we found it!! Our stay was wonderful and relaxing!!!
Thanks again to the owner & the caretaker for the great accommodations!!
Beautiful sunset with walking distance of fishing pier. If you are looking for exercise, Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda is walking distance over the bridge for food, shopping and other fun. For those that are on the stout side (such as we are it was a quick drive). For those in the 6'6" plus category, it may feel more like quaint submarine quarters versus the staterooms.
This newly renovated property was awesome. Great for 2 people. The space has been utilized to the fullest. The bathroom is small but works just fine. The amenities are over the top! We would stay there again for sure
