Cozy Quiet Island Light House on Water Front
Secluded 360° view, 4 seasons with wrap around deck, overlooking Saginaw Bay. Water access. Sunrise and Sunset. Daily eagle sightings. Countless foul. Fishing, Kayaking, Boat Launch. And only 15 minutes from town!
It was a nice cozy beautiful place t stay. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Watch the eagles and other birds among the bay. Perfect place to go to get away from everything. Didn't get to use the fire pit due to a weekend with gusty winds. Highly recommend this cozy get away.
We only stayed for one night, but that night was so relaxing and cozy that we could've spent a lot more time there! Exactly what we needed after a long drive and such a unique and fun place
The lighthouse and the walk up were beautiful. We enjoyed the secluded feel and the wildlife right out the front door. The only negatives were: cleanliness - when we arrived the place was covered in cobwebs. Live spiders on the ceiling and walls, dead spiders and bugs in cabinets and the upstairs (while a BEAUTIFUL view) was probably the woes for the bugs. 2) the photos made no secret that the way to the second floor was a climb. Just be careful when upstairs because the light switch is right next to the 3x4 hole in the floor and there is no way to close off the hole once upstairs. Be sure to use the bathroom right before going to bed lol! The host was very accommodating and brought us a vacuum however we had to spend about 30-40 mins vacuuming the building until we felt comfortable relaxing. Communication with the host was great. Definitely will be returning!!
Very cute! Well appointed for a tiny home! Could not be in a better location for anyone who wants to be immersed in natural beauty! So much wild life in every location. A bird watcherâs paradise! Located to catch all of the lovely summer time breezes while sleeping comfortably on the super comfy bed. Tracy the host is so accommodating, genuinely made us feel like we were welcome.
Location location location is amazing!!! Heard one of the bald eagles early morning right outside of the sliding doors. Tracy could not have been more accommodating and friendly!! We did set up a Coleman screened tent with two hammocks and enjoyed the nature around us!!
Such a lovely stay on Saginaw Bay that we didnât know existed. Lots of wildlife to watch and enjoy! Great way to disconnect from computers and work life enjoying the water views, the breeze off the lake and sunrises and sunsets!
Beautiful location and quiet. No A/C, not good for a 90 degree day in July. Very small, and if you have mobility issues, this place is not for you. Spent one night, and that was enough for July. Spring or fall would be recommended.Bay City (20 minutes away) has a lot of restaurants to offer. Inside was clean, outside was plastered with bugs, especially on the screens. The Host was nice.
A beautiful, quiet little place. We had such an amazing time! The view is perfect. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We struggled a bit with the heat and we did bring a small fan which was a life saver for when downstairs. Upstairs the breeze can be really wonderful with the windows open. The stairs are a bit steep but we found that to be a fun adventure! Tracy is an attentive and friendly host. We would love to come back someday!
The lake is big and you are small. This is evident in the best way possible every moment you are there. Is the house tiny? Absolutely, but you didn't come here for room you came for the view and wow does it deliver
Very nice and quiet. Secluded. Small but just enough for 2. Had everything we needed Especially loved the bedroom upstairs. Had all of the windows open and the breeze blowing in off the water was amazing. Had rain one night and loved the sound. We spent every night outside enjoying the breeze and watching the sunset. Had fun watching an eagle that resided nearby. We played golf at a couple of nearby courses and took our motorcycle on a scenic ride.
