More than 3700sq feet of living space in a newly renovated ranch house. The house is equipped with Starlink wifi, shaw satellite, a smart TV and central air.
Modern kitchen is fully equipped with EVERYTHING you will need. A live edge island seats four with access to a beverage fridge. The western eating bar in the dining room also features a live edge, and seats 6. The dining table can easily accommodate up to 8 more guests. A highchair is also available onsite. If you need to escape you can use the french doors to get a breath fresh air on the deck off the dining area.
Kick off your boots, and hang up your hats on the unique coat rack upon entering. The house invites you in, but if you need to freshen up first there is a 1/2 bath with full laundry facilities.
The kitchen/dining opens up to a welcoming luxurious living room. This room features two oversized couches, with two arm chairs you won't want to get out of. With a flick of a switch, enjoy the warmth of the custom gas fireplace. There are two built-in benches next to the fireplace with comfy pillows and blankets.
There are 6 large bedrooms with luxurious beds that you will probably want to take home (but you can't).
The 3 upstairs bedrooms have king beds. Each bedroom has its own wow factor and custom design. The main bedroom has a great closet and a kick ass ensuite featuring double sinks with a rainfall shower head. Actually all bathrooms feature rainfall shower heads. The second bathroom has a lovely soaker tub and spacious vanity. Bedroom 2 and 3 feature huge windows that have a lovely view and ample space for your belongings.
The lower floor is accessed off the entry, and features 3 oversized bedrooms with beautiful views. 2 of the bedrooms have queen beds with huge closets and lots of space for any extras, including 2 pack and plays that are provided. The last bedroom has 2 queen beds. The full bathroom has double sinks so you can brush your teeth with your friends. The shower also has lots of room.
The 2 common areas in the lower level are made for good times. Separated by a small bar one side has Foosball and air hockey tables. The other side has the largest sectional you have ever seen with a large smart TV. If you don't feel like watching tv or playing air hockey try your hand at a game of cards on the games table while keeping warm by the electric fireplace on a cold day.. Games, books, toys and puzzles are available. What else do you need?
The ranch house is one of a kind but what is truly unique, is outside the front steps.
You can gaze upon the custom landscape while grilling steaks for 10 (20 if you are feeling generous) on the large gas BBQ. Firepits (and hot dog sticks)are close by for smores and hotdogs, or if you prefer you can play some of our outdoor games (some firewood will be provided). For those extra guests that like to travel in their house, we have space for them too. There are lots of spots for RVs(Max 10), but no hookups. Spotless outdoor washroom. The rustic events center seats 80 and the 9 hole disc golf course is challenging and fun! To add to your unique adventure the 24', 3 queen bed Tipi offers a unique experience.. The Tipi features a breathing friendly central firepit and cedar floors.
Guests have private access to the ranch for outdoor adventures. ie hiking, orienteering,, cross country skiing and snowshoeing are just a few. Extreme mountain biking anyone ? Lots of toboggan "hills"! MANY acres of badlands, prairie, wildflowers and berries, birds, animals and everything else found on an Alberta Ranch. Breathtaking photo opportunities. Drive 15 minutes to ski at the Valley Ski Hill. Take a 5 minute drive to Bigknife Provincial Park for winter or summer fishing, kayaking and canoeing(open water year round). Drive another minute to the Diplomat Trout pond. Lovely and reasonable Castor golf course is 15 minutes away. The Westwoods Hall is 10 minutes away for those who have larger groups(300).We have done everything we can think of to ensure that your stay is memorable and that you will want to return.
