the on line pictures were deceiving, there were no curtains in the front so every one walking by could see through the house. we had to put blankets over the windows for privacy and we never felt safe the time we were there. there was no lighting that worked at the back door even after we installed a light bulb, the doors were secured by chain locks on the front and back entry doors. we had ants all over the kitchen counter tops one morning getting into all the dry food. the host did have old ant bait and sent more for us to take care of it. the host did have an exterminator come and spray the outside of the house days later. we sent pictures of the HVAC unit freezing up and the response was they have had it looked at and nothing can be done. we had to run the system to the point of not working then shut off till it thawed out then turn back on heating and cooling. we did hear from the lady that was staying in the unit beside of us the day before leaving she had mold in her walls, which most likely explaining the head aces my wife started have the day after we got there. the furniture looked like they went to a yard sale and purchased whatever was cheapest. the back yard has an old building with wood stacked around it and the property was not well maintained.
