Dear Travelocity Support Team, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a serious incident that occurred during our recent stay in the Dominican Republic, which we booked through Travelocity. Guest Names: James & Dalia Aikens Hotel: Bahia Principe Room: 3603 Travel Dates: November 21–30, 2025 Date of Incident: November 25–26, 2025 On the second day of our stay, a strong rotten egg / sulfur odor suddenly filled our hotel room. The smell became so severe that the room was completely uninhabitable, forcing us to leave in the middle of the night. We experienced physical discomfort and were concerned about potential health risks, which led us to seek medical attention. We reported the issue to the front desk four separate times, but our concerns were not addressed with the necessary urgency. It was not until around 3:00 AM that a maintenance worker, Izrael, came to investigate. He confirmed the odor was real and immediately assisted us in relocating to another room. While we appreciated his help, the hotel’s overall response was unacceptable given the seriousness of the situation. As a result of this incident, we experienced:    •   A lost night of our vacation    •   Physical discomfort and medical expenses    •   Significant inconvenience and emotional distress We are requesting appropriate compensation for the lost night and for the medical visit caused by the unsafe room conditions. We trust that Travelocity will assist us in resolving this matter .

Honesty I didnt have big expectations for this resort but it is small and eash to navigate than the Punta Cana big hotels and you really get to know the staff. Had a great time. Food was hot and so much selection. Food being hot at a buffet is crucial and it was great here.

Love the whole resort, everything was up to par with the beach, pool, food. I wish they had more activities and the room's AC was always breaking down and turning off. The AC was at 80-85 the whole time and I had to keep complaining.

Excellent!! The buffet was excellent! The grounds immaculate. The room was large and had a refrigerator stocked daily. The pool was large and had a swim up bar. If you are a beach person and are expecting clear water- this is not the resort for you. There is a river nearby and that causes the ocean water to be murky. The water is not clear like other resorts in La Romana.The beach is well maintained and has nice chairs and palapas.

We were a little disappointed with our trip. Being Platnum with Expedia we chose this property at it was a VIP with extra perks. Well those perks are not the same everywhere and we are offered way more in Mexico. This was our 1st time in the Dominican and I definitely prefer our treatment in Mexico! The rooms were older, but well kept. The food was pretty good although could use a little more variety for breakfast and dinner. With only 3 al a carte they could use a little more options there too. We had 2 people with Celiac and we were very sad there weren't gluten free options (as there are in MX). The beach itself was nice to walk, but the water is not clear, so no snorkeling. The pools were nicen well maintained, and cleqned every day! For an older hotel they really do a good job keeps things maintained and are quick to help if you have a need. One of our safes needed reset and they were pretty quick and another ac wasn't working and they fixed it right away. The staff were kind and hard working! We had some laughs with a few of the bar tenders and wait staff who were always welcoming! Overall great people, good food, and perfect weather.

My second stay at this resort and I'm willing to come back in the future. They probably need more loungers at the beach. The only thing I didn't like is there are many flies/mosquitos especially in the afternoon

We had two rooms d the both were very clean. The doors in both rooms were uneven at the top and bottom. You could see outside which made it easy for bugs to fly and crawl inside. The swim up bar was fun and the staff made sure to serve everyonewithout long wait periods.
