Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs worked great for us . It would work great for a family. The house was clean and very well kept. The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would recommend this rental to others and consider staying there again.

Good Price for Family

Homey and appreciated christian items around the house. We were surprised by the temporary air conditioning units in some of the bedrooms. Two of the five bedrooms had no air and it was 90 the day we arrived. We realized two days later that our room was warmer because the window was open. Had to keep our door open with three fans running to try to push air into the room across the hall. Didn’t use basement due to mildew smell and unsafe for little ones. Breezeway was unexpected and made it difficult to use the lovely patio that I thought would be one of our main places to hang out - too out of the way to get there and weather didn’t cooperate. The doors upstairs need oiling - was afraid of waking everyone up if I got up in the night. Front door doesn’t open all the way due to flooring. Tree out front on right could be trimmed as I had to maneuver to get in the car while trying to keep from getting wet from neighbors auto sprinkler.

Thanksgiving getaway

We met our son in Rapid City for Thanksgiving and our stay was perfect. The house is in a great neighborhood next to a golf course. Everything in the house meets the description of the house from VRBO. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could fix a Thanksgiving feast! We would stay here again if we come back to Rapid City.

Great place in rapid city.

Upon entering the house, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness. The decor may be a little out of date, but the 5 upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms made up for it. The beds are extremely comfortable. One downfall would be the lack of outlets in the bathroom. But definitely not a dealbreaker. The owners were very good about communicating with us. We would definitely stay there again if a house is needed in Rapid City Great for our whole family: from 87 to 4 months!

Beautiful Quaint Home

My group stayed at the property for the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Host was very accommodating with requests and was quick to respond back to messages. The home was perfect for the needs of our group of 11 adults to enjoy the rally event. Location is definitely in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Grocery stores were not too far away from the property. House was pretty stocked with things you may also need.

Excellent Location

This property is an excellent location. Travel time to Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, and Deadwood was within 30 minutes. The owner, C. A. Piper, responded to messages promptly. If you are looking for a family oriented location this is your stop. It has focus on how families spent time with each other. Board games, pool table, and movie watching. Looking to get back quality time with the family this is the place.

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. Location to main attractions was perfect and yet far enough away to slow down. Very clean home, with fenced in patio which was nice for our toddler! Beautifully kept lawn in a nice neighborhood!

Comfortable home, nice and quiet

The home was as advertised, plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 littles. The informal dining area was a little tight, but we didn’t want the small kids eating on the carpet in the larger formal dining area. Lots of supplies in the kitchen. Very thankful for access to laundry! Nice patio in the back. Close to lots of fun things to do 😀.

Cozy, Convenient and Very Clean

The house has lots of combinations of rooms so was versatile for our multi family stay. The extra two twins in the basement were a nice surprise too. The house had lots of conveniences that made it feel cozy (ziplocks, laundry soap, and shower soap, paper towels etc) The furniture and decor is definitely from the past but cozy and clean so it worked. Multiple rooms to gather and hang out. We would stay again. The host was awesome! Very responsive and flexible. The only comment for the host was the upstairs tub is very slippery getting in And out. Thanks for a wonderful clean and affordable stay.

Base for National Parks

This was a great home base to visit all the national parks in the area. The quiet neighborhood was so relaxing. The beds were comfortable. The house was big enough that even with 7 of us in it everyone could find their own space to relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful retreat

The property was perfect for our family visit. The unit was clean and beautiful. We found the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We visited family locally but also were able to have some quality down time. Highly recommend for a family visit. Appreciated that the host set up the gas grill and there was patio furniture available.

Clean! Sweet, quiet location and great host!

We had an amazing stay! Plenty of bathroom space, wonderful set up for 2 sets of parents and 6 kids! There are even 2 more beds in the basement! The laundry area in the basement was efficient and a blessing! We loved the decor and the high quality carpeting, etc. So many little details that made it a special place to stay! Thank you so much!

Awesome house and Host

A very large house. 1 full bath, 1 3/4 bath and a half bath. We had 7 adults and 1 7 year child and plenty of room and convenience to whatever you wanted or wanted to do. The response time to any questions was rapid. We really enjoyed the house and an awesome neighborhood
