The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction. This apartment is located on the second floor.
The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.

The place was clean and although there was nobody at our arival they have a very good system for the check in and it all went very smooth.
We liked the location, very easy to find and had optiond for eating nearby.
The place had some distinctive smell, but opening the windows did the trick, although the smell was back each time we left and got back again (becasue we couldn't leave the windows opened while not in).
Oh and there was a sofa bed, but we didn't find any extra sheets to use, so we kind of had to share the ones from the other two beds. It wouls be nice to have those extra sheets in there.
All in all we had a good stay

Great value-very clean
The unit was pretty much what I expected in terms of size. It was clean and gave us the space we needed. Airflow was a little disappointing the first day, since leaving windows open doesn't seem like a safe thing to do. Because this is a VRBO, I expected coffee and tea so I didn't bring any. I was disappointed to find that there was only enough coffee for one cup (we were there two mornings). So with that I would recommend bringing your own coffee and/or tea. Don't expect any other extras in terms of creamers, sugars, salt or pepper. But there was shampoo/conditioner and dish soap.
