Wonderful budget hotel option with valley views down to the Mediterranean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Our host was very friendly and helpful. Parking is provided just off the main parking lot for a discounted rate, and our host helpfully parked for us so we wouldn’t have to navigate the tight corners. Location couldn’t be better - literally steps to the piazza duomo and villa rufolo. Note : The market is in the parking lot on Tuesdays and they start setting up around 5am so it is noisy outside the window. We didn’t attempt to drive our car through the market that day - made the long walk down to Atrani and Amalfi for a beach day instead. Would come back to Il Ducato!

The staff at this hotel were wonderful. Expedia had made an error in our reservation dates and refused to fix it… but the hotel fixed it up no problem, no fees. The property also helped arrange travel to and from the airport/train station. They were very accommodating! The hotel itself was cute and right next to the central Ravello square. Would come back!

Pietro is an EXTREAMLY, warm, charming professional host! Breakfast was delicious, and he made sure we were full!! Pietro made reservations for our anniversary that were perfect! The room was spacious and larger than what was advertised. Excellent stay, highly recommend, will stay again! PERFECTO!!!

The picture of the view of the lake was a bit embellished, not sure where it was taken, but possibly the patio where breakfast was served. The breakfast was plentiful was nice and really all that was needed. The location was right next to and over looking the city parking. So it was a bit noisy in the morning. The owners bent over backwards to help with taxi and any other needs you might have. Ravello is a beautiful city but if you really want a view of the lake you will pay 2-3 times the money. So for the price it was a nice option!

Perfect place

Friendly owner. So helpful with everything. Came early, stored our luggage, tried to help us get bus tickets when town ran out. Answered any questions. Great location right off the square. Entire property in clean. Breakfast was perfect to launch the day. Fresh fruit, croissants, coffee any way you like. Really enjoyed, we will be back. Ravello in itself is magical.

This was by far one of the best stays we've had, either in Europe or US. Fantastic & quiet location away from the bustle of tourists. It was a very nice retreat after fighting crowds elsewhere. The owner was also extremely helpful and very friendly, we very much enjoyed talking to him. (I suggest all contact him prior to arrival as he can assist with your transportation & other items you may need.) This B&B was recommended to us and I'm so glad we stayed here in Ravello. And great breakfasts!

We will stay no where else but Il Ducato when staying in Ravello! It is the perfect location. Only a two minute walk to the center, La Piazza di Duomo and the center of town. It is perfectly clean and modernized, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. While visiting, my husband got a severe toothache, and Pietro was quick to find us a dentist that would extract his tooth and his colleague Santina, was nice enough to drive us over an hour to a dentist, translate everything to the dental staff, bring us to a pharmacy and drive us back which took over a half day of her time. They both saved our entire trip and we cannot be more thankful for their superb service. Breakfast is delicious with a beautiful view from the terrace and they made us feel like it was our home . We love you, Pietro and Santina. !!!

Il Ducato is a beautiful property and in the perfect location next to the Ravello town square. The room was very clean, had a great amount of space and all the amenities you could ever need. To top things off is the service and attention provided by the staff, especially Pietro. He took care of our requests and provided us with a great breakfast in the perfect settings overlooking the Ravello/Scala area. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting the Ravello area. ❤️
