This is a beautiful piece of property, right along the Sacramento River. But the rooms and grounds need renovation. This has the potential to be a really nice place to stay if the owners are willing to put the time and money into fixing it up.

The manager (or owner) checked us in on a slow night. An hour later someone tried to access our room. My husband opened the door to a man and woman who was given the same room number as ours. Then there was a sharp cop-knock on the door - the manager. He was shocked to find us in the room (yes , the rm he’d just rented us!) , so my husband showed him the rm key holder with the room number written by him and explained it hat the key worked too! Next - we received a phone call from the same manager asking what our names are! Bizarre! The prevailing feeling was one of being watched and scrutinized. Not good!

Friendly staff

An old hotel which needs updating. Wifi signal was very poor. I had to go to nearby supermarket for wifi. Staff attempt many times to assist with this issue.

To quote Bette Davis in the movie Beyond the Forest: “What a dump!” The clerk was very friendly, but it was downhill from there. This place needs MAJOR renovation.

Everything was beautiful except the ac unit in the wall. It worked fine just didnt cool the room to a level that was comfortable. Once i brought it to the managers attention, he called someone and accomadated me in a unexpected way. He was polite and extremely appolgetic. Hes the epitome of empathy and sympathy. He was so very understanding.
