We decided not to stay. I wasn't really comfortable with the surroundings and the quality of the hotel was beneath my standards. I expect better from a Best Western.

Room was clean and comfortable, front desk ladies were great and helpful. We didn't know the hot tub was room temp until we tried to get in, and when asked about it we were told it's been an ongoing issue for awhile. This was disappointing because that was the only reason we chose to stay, so we could soak after a long several day drive. The next morning when we asked where to find the gym, we were told they had taken it out "a long time ago, and they need to remove it from the website." These were the only reasons we opted to spend a little more money for the night.

The evening check in staff was very cold and aloof. The morning gal the next day was very matter of fact not very friendly, just going thru the motions. The Best Western in Arcata was much more superior and very welcoming to customers

Booked after discovering the highway was closed further south for the weekend. Room was clean, clean sheets and bedding. Would be much nicer sans carpet. Bathroom was clean, shower kept getting hot and cold.

This hotel stay was excellent from beginning to end. We did not use the pool. The room was comfortable and very clean. We had a wonderful stay of one night but I would return to this hotel. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was like a feast with many hot and cold choices.

The hotel is old and needs to be updated. Carpet was dirty and chairs in the room were soiled. The bedding was nice.
