Great stay last week in Regensburg. I stayed in room 28 which was spacious, clean and very quiet. Coffee and 1 bottle of water in room each day. Location was great, you could walk to everything. I didn’t try breakfast, instead went to the many bakeries/coffee shops. Parking was my only complaint and a bit of a pain, but I figured it out after a few days (and same challenge for most city hotels). Here’s some tips: - driving in the city can be stressful, pay attention to 1 way streets, bikes and pedestrians - use Apple Maps vs Waze/google maps, far more accurate - I would do an electric car next time, always had open spots in garage and a couple of other spots - look up the 3 to 4 parking garages online, they display the number of open spots. I had to wait a few nights when I returned as the Christmas markets brought lots of visitors into city - I did a couple of long walks the first two days to help get me oriented. This was my 3rd time to Regensburg, but first time staying in city. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is a superb historic medieval building with the nuanced design and architectural uniqueness. There are little limitations in terms of elevators and getting around. Toilet are super tiny.

The hotel rooms are in a renovated Altstadt building which results in some "quirks" which include an elevator to the floor one's room is on, but there may still be a few up and down stairs to negotiate with luggage to get to one's room. We (my daughter and I) travel lightly, so this was not an issue, and we had a good chuckle about the logistics. There are lots of restaurant choices within a five- to ten-minute walk and much to see and do during the daytime within walking distance. The room was nicely furnished, and we enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel does not have onsite parking, so if coming by car, recommend planning where to park before arriving in the city center. We used Arnulfsplatz Parking Garage, which put us within an easy five minute walk of the hotel.

during our stay the sewer line was pumped and the stinch was horrible! No one advised us and we were there for 5 nights! The shower enclosure was also very dangerous! slippery shower stall and no safety handles. The staff was great and especially the big guy at the front desk was super helpful.... parking is very far away.....

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good, not great (the freshness/quality of the bread, in particular, was disappointing). Coffee could have been better too, but I'm talking Italian standards here. :) Appreciated the AC, even if it was a little on the weak side (by North American standards). This is a great location with a truly interesting building & history. Room was really cool with its own historical details. Breakfast was a good European buffet! Staff was attentive and friendly! Definitely recommended for a prime location in Regensburg.
