Black mold on walls of room. Jacuzzi tub was dirty had to clean it before I was able to use it. Bed was lumpy with broken springs. Breakfast isn’t nothing but toast and cereal, with coffee and juice. Only 2 positives 1 the staff was nice 2 plenty of parking. Will not be back.

The property is showing extreme wear. Carpeting in room was Rippled, smelly, and damp. Toilet didn’t flush properly, the lamp in between the beds was not working, and the pillows were horrific. The elevator needed repair as you could not press the down button and had to press the up button to get the elevator to stop. The place was really rundown. Would not recommend staying there. many guests were complaining because of the smell of cigarette smoke in the rooms. I unfortunately paid for it on Expedia or I would have demanded my money back.

Worst hotel and manager.

Not sure why people here are giving this hotel a 5 star review. Lets begin with the manager Cathy ans front desk staff Erika, - both never smile, no compassion and the answer is always no and wait. I paid a room for a price equivalent to suite. The room provided to me had a foul odor carpet and clogged sink. The room smelled horrible. I requested to be transferred to a suite because thats the price that I paid for but both of them asked for me to pay an extra 200plus dollars to be transferred to a non smoking suite on the 4th floor. Again, the carpet was stinky and the hallway was filled with cigarette odor. When you open the patio, the air was filled with cigarette smoke . I requested to be transferred to a suite room without carpet but of them did not help me. I told them that my daughter was coughing from the cigarette smoke and filthy carpet and odor but no compassion. It is not fair for clients to pay the same price for a room that has a carpet versus a non carpeted floor. The manager Erika said, “ I thought all the suite rooms are non carpeted. They have given me the stinky room, dirty carpet, no an iron , iron board and hangers like they were punishing me for a price more than the actual rate. I waited until Sunday to get transferred to a suite room without a carpet thru the help of Mr. Kit. He was very accommodating , caring and compassionate. He went above and beyond to help me transfer to a non carpeted suite despite of him working the night shift and day shift.

Please save your money and protect your health and do not stay at this establishment. There was mold all over the ceiling of our room, rust on the microwave and lamps. Our carpet was damp and the odor in the room was unbearable. I tried to have my room changed due to my asthma and they were unable to change it due to no availability. Albert was understanding and tried to help. Erica was rude, condescending, and should not have a job here. She smiled in my face and said “if it was such a big deal you should have just drove home in the middle of the night”. I live over 3 hours away. I had drinks that night as well. Unbelievable to encourage drunk driving. She refused to contact the manager because they were “off for the weekend”. The entire establishment is a health hazard. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere where they will respect you and take pride in their property.

My experience

I went there with my family for a few days at the beach but we were not really satisfied because we asked the front office in the morning before leaving for the beach to clean our room and were surprised in the evening to see an unclean room with no towels!! The lady was not so nice and didn’t apologize in the first place . Also they need to really improve the breakfast!!! I paid my money for nothing!! Did not eat breakfast at all !!!!

Dear Econo lodge Management, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent check-in at your hotel on August 8th in room 234. The conditions I encountered were unacceptable and significantly impacted the quality of my stay. Firstly, the room was not only dirty but also unsafe. There were stains on the bedding, the bathroom was unsanitized, and the lock on the sliding door was falling off the hinges. Additionally, the state of the lobby was appalling. It was filthy and had a horrible smell that permeated the entrance, creating a very poor first impression. Stains on the ceiling, rugs and furniture dirty and outdated. I hope you will take these complaints seriously and take appropriate action to address these issues.

Can’t beat it for the price.

We had a wonderful week there, me and my 3 kids. The room we had was just remodeled. Only thing I wish we would have had was a better tv that didn’t have lines in it, cable or the option to use streaming services. The pool was very clean, warm and the kids loved it. The breakfast was sub par- the butter was not good, the juice tasted stale or something was off. But for the price and location I will be staying here again with my kids. We had a wonderful week. Stayed Mon-fri. Staff was friendly, helpful and quick. The last night we had a water leak in the bathroom from the upstairs room and they came within 10-15 min to look at it. Will be booking next year for a week. I know some rooms are still being remodeled so they were not as nice as ours, we definitely got lucky and our room was right by parking for easy access.
