The host was responsive and accommodating when we had a small request. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located to just about everything and everywhere. This rental was considerably less than other options and if you are like our family and spend the majority of your time out and about and not at the rental, this place is a solid option. As for cleanliness, we would have given it 5 stars had it not been for a mattress that was shockingly pretty stained to the point we would not consider using that bedroom. Still plenty of sleeping options for our family of four, but we did end up using an air mattress we brought. Overall, this place puts you close to many points and would serve as a good base camp for an active family that needs a place to come back to, relax a bit, clean up, sleep and get ready for your next activity. The host was responsive and accommodating and with a tiny bit more attention to detail, like addressing the stained mattress, this is a good little spot.

Disappointed and Feeling Deceived

I have to be very honest and say we were very disappointed in our stay. I have pictures documenting each issue. #1- the house was very dirty. Dust, previous renters hair, and debris was found throughout the kitchen. The ceiling fans were coated in black dirt, dust, and dander. Even wall decorations had piled up dust on them. #2 - sofa cushions were sweat stained and disgusting. We actually covered them in bags in order to sit on the couch. #3 - several areas of door trim were missing or broken off. Ignoring a $15 fix shows a lack of attention to the property. #4 - carpet was very old, ripped, and dirty. Our white socks were black after 2hrs walking through the home. #5 - the primary bath tub is dangerous & about to fall through the floor. It was extremely spongy with plastic creaking under our feet. #6 - several slats were missing on the blinds. #7 - the beds were disgusting with stains. We refused to sleep in one of the beds and bought an air mattress instead. #8 - the wood around the windows is clearly rotting and not being properly taken care of. #9 - should be aware that pilot lights on gas stove are always burning and could be afire hazard if items left on top for too long (i.e. pizza box).

It was perfectly located just blocks from any last minute vacation needs; including starbucks, grocery stores, shopping outlets and an array of dine options. It was the closest we have ever been to the beach. The host was very responsive and the screened in porch/ bar was were we spent most of our nights. Quiet, very clean, and safe neighborhood.

Perfect vacation rental

The house was roomy for eight people, very close to the beach, and the screened-in porch was a delight at the end of the day. We will definitely rent this house again, it was perfect for 4 adults and four children. The owner was easy to deal with and very helpful.

Great Family Location

Property was clean and well situated to both Atlantic and Bay Beaches. Quiet neighborhood and was very clean and tidy. We have a rather large family (6 kids) and we were able to fit comfortably. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay

We had an overall wonderful stay recently. The house looked as in the pictures and with 3 small kids and 4 adults we had plenty of space. The neighborhood was quiet and two of us had a safe and pleasant experience running for morning exercise. It’s about a 10-15 minute ride to the Rehoboth beach and 20-25 to lewes beach. The outdoor shower and screened porch were really excellent !

Nice little house close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our needs (3 adults and 2 children under 5). The house was very clean, nice and cool (good AC and lots of ceiling fans), and cozy. It has a nice big TV with cable and a Roku. We loved the enclosed outdoor shower after a beach day with two little kids. We didn’t get a chance to use the sun porch but it’s a really nice area. Also the location is excellent. Right off Coastal Highway, you could get to multiple beaches and the Cape May Ferry very easily. Also tons of shopping and restaurants well with a 15 minute drive. A few things to call out for future renters
 the coffee maker is a tiny four cup, but luckily Starbucks is a quick drive. We opened but didn’t use the pullout bed. It didn’t look to be very comfortable. Luckily we had brought an air mattress. The kitchen has very little by way of cooking stuff. We had wanted to maybe cook a meal or two but wouldn’t have had the pots and pans or tools to do it. Also, no bottle opener so bring your own if you need it. Thanks for the great stay!

Very nice experience

Easy check-in/check-out. Clear and concise instructions provide. The house was very clean and as described. Bill the owner was very responsive and even very flexible and reasonable when we asked to add an extra night. Location is about a 5 minute drive to outlet shops along route 1 and around 10 minutes to get to the beach. The outdoor shower helps immensely when washing off the sand before going into the house. The large screened in porch with outdoor table and bar offered a nice place to unwind with friends and enjoy some beverages. The neighborhood is very quiet and the mattresses are very comfortable pillow tops. You must bring you own linens and towels, which is common for most places. We vacuum seal these items to make travel easier. Highly recommend this place.

The property was nice, the porch was great. Not far from the beach. The communication with the owner was very good. The only thing that I didn't like was that it was openly disclosed about the $3000 damage fee that is attached once I checked out.

Family vacation

This was a very clean and very convenient place to stay. Great neighborhood. It was away from all the congestion and you still had the convenience of all the stores nearby along with a short distance to the bus stop. Definitely would stay there again.

The Perfect Balance

This home is the perfect balance between the beach and a quiet neighborhood. Rehoboth Beach is beautiful and fun but it’s nice to get away from the tourist scene. This house is a short drive from the beach, so it’s easy to get there every day. But it’s even better to come back to a quiet neighborhood and a super clean house with a beautiful screened in front porch. We spent two weeks at this property and loved it. Strong WiFi for zoom calls. Great property owners who respond quickly. All appliances work well. Super clean house. We had a great time. Sad to go and would come again!
