Perfect location

The drive between Munich and Emma‘s house was very scenic and became one of my favorite parts of the day. Emma and Billy were fantastic hosts, and my entire family wished we could have stayed longer.

Great host located in a quiet picturesque village.
Posted Sep. 25, 2019 on HomeAwayWe had four adults stay with Emma. The upstairs room with the futon bed was very comfortable but could be confronting if you are taller than 170cm. Her house is very conveniently located a short distance from the train station which gave us hourly access to Munich. Emma was very helpful and always responded the same day. Happy to recommend and would certainly stay with Emma again.

Wonderful house in a quiet location close to Munich
Posted Sep. 30, 2018 on HomeAwayWe were looking for a place close to Munich for going to Oktoberfest and this house fit the bill perfectly. Emma and Billy were wonderful hosts and with both being formerly from the UK, this place is good for English speaking travelers. We also had Eurail passes and thus no car, so this house is in a great location and only a 5 min walk from the train platform. By train from Paindorf to Munich Hbf it is only 30 min and so this place makes a great base to explore lower Bavaria from. The only drawback I can mention is that there are no grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance of the house. Wonderful place, will stay again.

A cozy and beautiful home
Posted Aug. 13, 2018 on HomeAwayEmma and Billy are great people; they were very attentive and helpful. We struggled with the hot weather making it hard to sleep upstairs, but that's something that can be easily fixed with a fan. The beds were very comfortable and the shower great! The area is very beautiful and we very much enjoyed everything!! Go Liverpool! ;)

Posted Jul. 10, 2018 on HomeAwayPersonable hosts with a lovely garden! Well stocked apartment. Easy access to Munich by car or train, 30 min ride. Emma went above and beyond doing laundry for us TWICE! One worry is the slippery wood stairs from the loft, wear socks or slippers with some tread. Overall highly recommended place to stay in beautiful Bavaria!

Perfect for Oktoberfest!
Posted Oct. 5, 2017 on HomeAwayA group of four of us stayed here while studying abroad and visiting Munich for Oktoberfest. The apartment was super cozy and cute and within easy access of Munich by train for city time and great for relaxing in the country afterwards. Emma was a great host, offering to meet us at the train station and show us the home. Awesome place!
