I slipped & fell on thick ice at bottom of stairs that i was told had been there for days & she had slipped on it too What good are these reviews if you cannot post the truth

Average Travelodge

After walking from the train station about 15 to 20 minutes through a snowstorm, the front desk clerk asks me as I'm standing there covered in snow what car I'm driving. Room was average, and facing the street. Elevator shaking so much on The Descent I thought an earthquake was happening and this was only three floors mind you. The room was clean not much choice for coffee refrigerator door blocked by the cabinet that housed it with a good show that was adjusted. The second night the heater would not turn off therefore I had to sleep with the door open. Overall with the choices of hotels ample I will give this average place a miss the next time

Lock was not working and floors were sticky.

I came back to a flooded room and bathroom
