Overlooking downtown Rethymno and the Cretan Sea, Villa Princess uses its sloped terrain to amplify views of the surrounding area.
Located in a great location only 1 km away from the closest beach and the town, the one-storey 130 sq. m villa offers outstanding panoramic views and can accommodate 8 guests in its 4 bedrooms.

Indoor Layout
Entering the villa, there is an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room includes a large sofa, fireplace, 50" satellite HDTV, and PlayStation 4. This area opens onto a balcony with sea views.
Along the hallway, there are four bedrooms, each with a 32" HDTV, and a main bathroom with a shower. Three bedrooms have double beds, while the fourth has two single beds that can be combined into a double. One bedroom also includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Outdoor Area
The beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation. More specifically, our outdoor facilities include:
- 30 sq. m. swimming pool
- Fully equipped barbecue area
- Two outdoor dining tables under the shadows with views of the pool and the surrounding landscape?
- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas and hammocks) for relaxing in the garden
- Organised playground area for children
- A ping pong table is at your disposal.
- Parking space for many cars
- The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests.
**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

SEJOUR EXCEPTIONNEL ET INOUBLIABLE

Souhaitant fĂȘter un Ă©vĂ©nement familial, la VILLA PRINCESS a parfaitement rĂ©pondu Ă  nos besoins : 4 chambres, 2 salles d'eau, un grand espace extĂ©rieur, une piscine... L'accueil de Georgios, le propriĂ©taire, annonçait dĂ©jĂ  l'ambiance : chaleureuse et trĂšs conviviale. Nous ne serons pas déçus par les prestations : changement de linge de maison et mĂ©nage 2 fois par semaine (en supplĂ©ment, dĂ©coration de lit Ă  chaque changement rĂ©alisĂ©e par Maria), plats typiquement grecs et vraiment savoureux offerts par la Maman de Georgios, le propriĂ©taire toujours Ă  l'Ă©coute et aux petits soins pour nous, cadre et vue exceptionnels, plusieurs points de convivialitĂ© (2 grandes tables extĂ©rieures avec vue sur mer trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©es + une placette ombragĂ©e), grande piscine avec vue magique, situation idĂ©ale par rapport Ă  RĂ©thymnon, maison trĂšs bien agencĂ©e, trĂšs propre et dĂ©corĂ©e de maniĂšre particuliĂšrement soignĂ©e dans laquelle chacun s'est tout de suite senti Ă  l'aise. En conclusion : lieu idyllique pour un sĂ©jour qui restera inoubliable, aurĂ©olĂ© d'un moment de sĂ©paration avec les propriĂ©taires empreint d'amitiĂ©, d'Ă©motion et de respect communs. Excellent villa, would highly recommend

We stayed as a family of 5 at Villa Princess and it lived up fully to its expectations. Fantastic location (car essential), ample space, facilities amazing, Photos are very accurate of the stunning location. Georgios was a fantastic host, welcoming, helpful, so kind with treats, and home cooked meals. Couldn't have asked for a better host. Villa was very practical, everything you need included, even extras such as dishwasher and washing tables and mosquito protection was great. Couldn't recommend the villa enough. Plenty of space, clean and maid service was very good. Overall a truly excellent place and definitely a very happy family at the end of the holiday.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, absolut empfehlenswert

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem schönen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus wirklich genossen. Die Außenanlage mit dieser Aussicht ist wunderschön, so dass wir tatsĂ€chlich auf die meisten geplanten AusflĂŒge verzichtet und einfach nur entspannt und genossen haben. In 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im Ort, Restaurants, Supermarkt, perfekt. Der EigentĂŒmer war super nett und das Essen von Mama war eine sehr nette und leckere Überraschung. Auch die Agentur Etouri hat tolle Arbeit geleistet, mit Buchungen von Restaurants und Taxis. Vielen Dank an alle fĂŒr eine gelungenen Kurzurlaub.

We were looking for a relaxing holiday with lovely weather and a fantastic villa, we got all three!! Couldn't have asked for a better holiday if we had tried. The old town of Rethymno was really lovely and the people were so friendly.

Lovely villa with stunning views.

The villa sits on a hillside above Rethymno with jaw dropping views. Giorgos was a great host and super helpful. The villa was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept very well. Overall a lovely villa - but for us the highlight was definitely sitting in the garden, looking at the amazing views. You can walk into town in about 20 minutes, but as the villa is on a steep hill it’s not an easy walk back up.

Nice stay

We had a great stay at Villa Princess. The house was a little smaller than expected but sufficient for us (2 families with 4 kids) as we spend most of the time outside or on the beach and it was well equipped. The outdoor area was really great, especially for the kids and the view was geogeous. Giorgos was a great host and very helpful and nice. His mum spoiled us with greek specialties like moussaka and pastitio. Thanks for that! We can definitly recommend this place.

Stunning Villa with incredible views and great host.

Our young family stayed in the Villa for 10 nights in September 2020 with my sister and her young family. The view from the Villa and garden was just breathtaking - the online photos do not do it justice and there are plenty of great places to relax in the garden to admire the aspect. The Villa was set up perfectly for two families sharing with separate bathrooms, four good sized bedrooms (all air conditioned) and plenty of play equipment in the garden to keep the kids entertained. The pool worked really well and the safety fence provided peace of mind that the children were safe with the glass balustrading allowing you to admire the view whilst relaxing in the pool. Having stayed in many self catered Villas we were surprised at how well equipped the accommodation was which made our stay easier. The Villa was spotless when we arrived and regularly cleaned through our stay. Location wise the accommodation provides the perfect balance being only a short drive from the Centre of Rethymno (which was amazing for shops and restaurants) yet set in a very quiet and private location. When we arrived the Owner was there to greet us and show us around the Villa which was incredibly helpful, he also passed on local knowledge, best places to eat etc. The Owner is a really friendly character and certainly made us feel at home. He left a homemade cake and pasta dish which his Mum cooked and even came to say goodbye when we left. The Owner managed to strike the perfect balance of being helpful but never intrusive and left us alone to enjoy the Villa. Get ready for the shots of Raki! We would highly recommend the Villa and hope to visit again in the near future.

Fantastic villa and wonderful hosts

We have just returned from Villa Princess in Crete. We were met by villa owner Georgios, and his homemade Raki, the check-in process was easy and Georgios showed us all around the villa and the property. A beautifully presented villa with the most incredible views. Georgios , his mum Vagelio and Maria came every 3 days to clean the pool and villa, along with homemade treats which were delicious. The Villa is situated about 2km from the old town, it is easy to get taxis. The best villa we have ever stayed in, Georgios and his family are so welcoming we would definitely stay here again.

Traumhafter Urlaub in toller Unterkunt

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Princess war großartig. Schon der Empfang durch den Besitzer mit netter BegrĂŒĂŸung und ErklĂ€rung hat gleich Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen lassen. Die Villa ist oberhalb von Rethymno gelegen, der abendliche Blick auf das Meer mit Sonnnenuntergang einfach gigantisch. Das Haus bietet alles was man benötigt und ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die AbkĂŒhlung im Pool war jeden Tag herrlich. Sowohl der Besitzer als auch die Agentur sind rund um die Uhr erreichbar und erfĂŒllen jeden Wunsch! Auch die Komminikation vor der Anreise war super. Wir können den Aufenthalt in der Villa Princess uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiterempfehlen. Eine besondere Überraschung war die selbstgemachte Lasagne von der Mutter des EigentĂŒmers die wir zur Wochenmitte erhalten haben! Wir kommen gern wieder!

Simply fantastic

Simply fantastic. Really. The villa is situated in the hills high above Rethimno with a splendid, unobstructed view over the sea and Rethimno. Note that you will need a car to get here. The pool is big enough for a few swim strokes but not that deep. The interior of the house is completely renovated and very modern. And finally, the owner, George, is very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service!

A dream vacation

The Villa Princess was a fabulous place to stay and was exactly what was advertised and more. The view was fantastic, the place was inviting and everything that could be hoped for. The hospitality of the owner was superb from the shots of Raki he had when we first showed up to the home cooked meal his mother made us of traditional Greek food. All 5 of the adults staying here would gladly do so again. I can't give enough compliments.

Wonderful house

We were 6 adults and 1 child (2 Years) and we had a wonderful week in this lovely house. Everything was perfect! The view from the house was outstanding and we walked down to Rethymnon (20 min) and took a taxi back (5€). The rooms were clean and spacious and all kitchen-ware were available. The kitchen itself was absolutely wonderful. Outdoors, the whole plot is inside the fence and even the pool has fence around it. Perfect for families with small children. There are several places on the plot where you can eat and drink. We finished every evening from the large patio to watch the sun go down. Absolutely magical. Even toys, type swings are on the plot. Barbecue is located next to the large patio. Georgio, who owns the house, is a wonderfully nice guy who came by and offered us some wonderful pasties. Georgio's mother came by one day and invited us to a wonderful Greek dish We have nothing negative to say about VillaPrincess. A paradise that we will return to. Nathalie with family

Absolute wonderful view with good location

We especially appreciated the hospitality of the owner. The house is very comfortable, clean, good beds, warm showers and very well equipped. We just loved the coffeemaker for dolce gusto capsules. Everything you wish for is available. The view from the balconies and garden is stunning. We enjoyed very much the garden with the beautiful diningtable, nice sun beds and refreshing pool.

Underbar villa!

Vi har avnjutet tvĂ„ hĂ€rliga veckor i Villa Princess. Utsikten frĂ„n huset Ă€r helt otrolig, solnedgĂ„ngen Ă€r spektakulĂ€r. Ägaren Georgoe tog emot oss nĂ€r vi kom och var lyhörd till vĂ„ra behov. Hans mamma lagade en otroligt god matrĂ€tt och en god kaka under vĂ„r vistelse. Huset blev ordentligt stĂ€dat var tredje dag. Huset har en egen grind som gör att villan kĂ€nns vĂ€ldigt privat. Grillen Ă€r mycket bra och vi har grillat mĂ„nga av vĂ„ra kvĂ€llar i huset. Bra med matplatser ute med skugga. Bra sovrum inne med mĂ„nga balkonger att vĂ€lja pĂ„. Mycket bra wi-fi som fungerade bra bĂ„de inne och ute. Poolen hade ett underbart lĂ€ge och var lagom stor. HĂ€ngmattorna var ett bra komplement till utemöblerna. Vi hoppas att vi nĂ„gon dag kan komma tillbaka till fantastiska Villa Princess. Vi tackar ocksĂ„ etouri för den fina gĂ„va vi fick, en dag vid Baja beach. Week Long Stay April 2017

We spent one week in this Villa overlooking the town of Rethymno as two small families of 4 adults and 4 young children in total. The size of the property was ideal for this amount of guests or alternatively 6 adults would fit comfortably. Without a doubt the selling point to the this villa is the view, there is an amazing panaramic view of the Cretan Mountains to the West, the Northern Coastline of Crete and an overlooking view of the lovely city of Rethymno and its Fortezza. I can't imagine there is a better view in any villa throughout Crete. Another positive of the Villa is the outside space. The barbecue is ideal for cooking and there is plenty of outside seating for dining. The swimming pool is a decent size and access is restricted to children, it is however not heated so a little chilly in April! This would be ideal in the middle of a hot greek summer. The outside space is perfect for young children to play in safety and with lots of childrens toys available. The villa itself is homely and has been well looked after in spite of its age. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is well suited for the number of guests the villa caters for. There is lots of traditional decor and is cleaned twice a week to a very good standard. The local area is a great place to spend a holiday and I would recommend a hire car for the duration as the Villa is a about 3km uphill from the town. A taxi is however only 5 euros if required. The most memorable part of the booking has to be the hospitality of the host, Giorgios. On the first evening he met us at the Villa with local cheese, breads and Raki to make us feel welcome from the very beginning. This continued through the week as he brought local dishes for us to try and recommended a really good fish restaurant in Rethymno where he turned up with a birthday cake for one of our guests. A brilliant host, in a lovely villa on a beautiful island. In summary we definitely left with a love for Crete and would recommend this Villa on the view and outside space alone.
