Architect desinged Villa on a hill with spectacular views over Vlycha Bay
Villa on a hill next to Natura with no next door neighbours and direct acess to sea below the hill with own private pathway on 4,000 squae meters land . below the villa is the sandy beach of Vlycha whihc is one of the best beaches in Rhodes and lcose to the famous Lindos village. The panoramic views will take your breath away. The Villa is truly amazing and will provide an unforgettable holiday for your friends and family .
This villa has the best location on Vlycha Beach. It is set at the far end just up a hill, so that you have amazing views across the bay, but still it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach (which is mostly sand on this end). Also, the far side of the property is protected land, so it is very secluded even though it is only a few minutes drive to Lindos around the corner. The villa has a nice open layout with kitchen and living room fully open onto a nice deck with a lovely infinity pool with world class views. One point to be aware of is it can be very hot. We stayed at the end of June and had a few days over 100 F (almost 40 c). Vlycha is on the leeward side of the island so the breeze is calm, but it travels over the rock hills of Rhodes and gets warm. This is an advantage in spring or fall, but took us by surprise on how hot it got right on the sea in early summer. There is no A/C in the living room, so it was very hot even first thing in the morning. The kitchen is very well provisioned and there is a great outdoor grill. We loved the breakfast area under the olive trees in the morning. There is a good market at the beach and a real grocery store only a few minutes drive away. There is also a great fresh fish market within a 10 minute drive. We were a little worried about the platform beds, but they were actually more comfortable than they looked and the bedrooms have A/C so we slept well. Stefanos is a wonderful host. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay in Rhodes.
Great place if you're looking for a little peace and quiet, yet still be walking distance to the beach and bars.
Nice patio/deck area with olive trees for shade, and lovely views over the bay.
Stefanos is an attentive host, keeping in touch to ensure everything OK.
Thank you Stefanos for a wonderful experience. Five adults stayed for a week in July with high expectations and this place delivered in spades. The outdoor areas provided comfort and shade during the different times of the day. The pool was very clean with views across the bay and beach. No neighbors brought privacy and tranquility. The villa was very clean and the mid week clean was thorough and a lovely touch. Three bathrooms was also appreciated. Stefanos helped arrange transport and was always available if required. There was a gas bbq, 2 fridges and a separate freezer as an added bonus. We enjoyed our early morning and evening goat visits which offered plenty of entertainment. The villa is located within a 10 minute walk of 2 very good restaurants. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone seeking a very special getaway.
Fabulous. Everything we wanted. Location stunning and very comfortable. Host very attentive when contacted. A week of unadulterated rest and relaxation. Book the restaurants recommended as good food, great locations and all very friendly/helpful. As an aside I would advise not great for young children or for persons of reduced mobility as lots of steps due to split levels and tiled floor slippery.
Recently, four of us (2 couples), made Kerylos our home for 8 nights. It was magical - words cannot describe the beauty of this place. We were greeted upon arrival (the easy drive from the airport was about 1 hour) and all communications with the host were professional and timely both before and during our stay. Driving through the pretty blue villa gates, a gorgeous vista is in front of you with the villa perfectly situated on the top of the hill overlooking the sea. Facing north, there is a gorgeous glow in the sky at both sunset and sunrise and the night sky was full of stars. There is a natural area/mountain to the right and the hotels/resorts of Vlycha Bay to the left. The villa sits far enough away from the hotels that it has wonderful privacy. The villa itself is amazing with an interesting layout that brings the inside out and the outside in. The main room has wall to wall sliding glass pocket doors and wooden shutters that disappear completely and open to a beautiful patio seating area where we spent most of our time when we were at the villa. It is the perfect spot to relax in comfortable chairs with a glass of wine (or ouzo!) with the beautiful vista in front of you. Should you want to go for a swim, the lovely, private infinity pool is a few steps away and the gorgeous beach is a short walk down the hill. There is an interesting cave chapel that you can explore by taking the goat paths as you navigate the natural area adjacent to the villa. Ah, the goats - such fun to watch! They never bothered us but rather were a welcome sight whenever they meandered through several times a day. The villa is a very short drive to beautiful Lindos (restaurants, shops, the Lindos Acropolis, the Church of the Panagia, and so much more). Even though we enjoyed eating out, we cooked several meals at the villa and had everything we needed with the provided cookware and appliances. Upon arrival, we found the refrigerator stocked with complimentary staples (including wine!) to get us through to the morning when we purchased what we needed at the nearby local grocery store. The beds were comfortable and the entire villa very clean and tidy. It was great to have a washer and a drying rack so we could do laundry. The villa was beautifully decorated and absolutely charming. We day tripped to Rhodes Old Town and the Valley of the Butterflies but were also perfectly content to spend our days at Kerylos. We were very sad to leave this delightful, incredible place!
Villa Kerylos was fantastic for our relaxing holiday secluded and private with some amazing personal touches.
It was everything described in the booking and more
Rustic meets modern and allowed us to totally chill out with everything we needed
We like our private space so the Villa was ideal
Information given at the Villa was very helpful and Stephanos was always available to support by text or on the phone
Traumurlaub in Griechenland.
